When I say MBDTF is a better rap album than TPAB, is that a Hot Take?

Before anyone jumps in, I’m not saying MBDTF is the more important album or more meaningful album with context to the concept, messaging and all that.

I’m talking strictly about the music itself: sonics, production, replay value, overall listening experience, and the quality of the rapping performances across the album.

I think Kendrick is a better technical rapper than Kanye, but I also think MBDTF has some of the highest production peaks in hip-hop history and a stacked lineup of great rap performances. Tracks like Dark Fantasy, POWER, Devil in a New Dress, Runaway, and Lost in the World are hard for me to put below anything on TPAB from a pure listening standpoint.

For context, my top 3 rap albums are:

  1. Illmatic
  2. MBDTF
  3. TPAB

So my question is: when I say MBDTF is a better rap album than TPAB, is that actually a hot take, or just a minority opinion

Jermaine, What about some music videos man?!

The Fall-Off is Cole's most anticipated album ever, it must have atleast a few good amounts of music videos yo. I hope something might still come...

What are some lesser-known productivity hacks that genuinely work for you?

I’m not looking for common advice like the “80/20 rule” or “turn off your phone.” Those are useful, but I’m more interested in personal or unconventional productivity hacks that specifically work well for you, even if they’re not widely talked about.

Could be mental tricks, environmental changes, routines, weird systems, anything.

Had this discussion with this "Top 1% commenter" from r/TeenageRapFans and I realised I just wasted my time and energy.

I just scroll reddit, rarely engage in certain type of full-fledged long discussion but I just went for it. Anyways, just wanted to share. And I'm ready for "I ain't reading allat" comments lol.
