Pregabalin and Xanax

Hi!

So I’m taking pregabalin 25mg 3 times a day. I’m having really bad panic attacks because of agoraphobia and bachelor thesis defense. I’m also on Zoloft 50mg.
How to take Xanax? My doc didn’t told me lmao and I know it’s better to ask someone with “experience”.
I have Xanax 0,25 mg and I can take 2 doses.
I have bachelor thesis defense at 2pm but I need to be there at 11am.

Please help me, my doc doesn’t answer my calls and idk what to do :(((((

Sleeping problems

Hi!

So I’m 6 years on Zoloft but for the past 1.5 year I was taking it how I wanted (memory issues). Now I’m taking it everyday for 2 months I think.
Im having really bad insomnia, like I can’t sleep till 3/4 AM. I was trying everything. Im also on pregabalin (my doc said it will help but I think it’s opposite lmao).

Any one having same issue? What helped you go through insomnia on Zoloft?

Zoloft and pregabalin and panic attack

Hi!
So I’m on Zoloft 50mg for 6 years but I started taking it how I wanted (I was forgetting to take it cuz of my ADHD). I ended up AGAIN with severe anxiety and panic attacks every day. Recently I’ve had an appointment with a psychiatrist and she prescribed me pregabalin 25mg every morning, afternoon and evening. I’m taking pregab for now 10 days. She said it will help me “bounce back” because I have bachelor thesis defending in 2 weeks. For 9 days it was all good but today I got a really REALLY bad panic attack. I called a 24/7 clinic to ask if it’s okey to take Xanax in those situations (she didn’t told me what to do in those situations). Well I took it but this doc said I shouldn’t have this severe panic attacks - I’m on taking Zoloft regularly for almost 2 months so.
Idk my next appointment is in 3 weeks, I texted her but she didn’t replied, I called the clinics but they didn’t answered. Is it normal that I had this severe panic attack OUT OF NOWHERE? I’m also having therapy every Monday so it’s not like I’m getting any help besides meds. I’m really worried not about my defending because of this situation. Like everything was good whole day and BOOM panic attack almost fainted…
Maybe someone had similar experience

How you increase the dose?

So I’m on 25mg in the morning (9AM) and 25mg in the evening (10PM). My psychiatrist told me that if I need I can increase for another 25mg in the afternoon BUT she didn’t tell me when. Today is going to be 7 days since starting pregab - for first two days I was only on 25mg in the evening and after those 2 days I started taking one in the morning. I see some difference but I still have anxiety and I still can’t really function. I would like to start higher doses (I have bachelor thesis to defend so I need to function) but idk if it’s the right time.
Can you guys share how you were increasing your doses? I don’t have many side effects - only headaches and pressure in the temples (but I don’t think it’s something bad like I don’t feel bad with that lmao). My psychiatrist is not answering my calls and texts 😭✊

Take your Zoloft as prescribed

Hi!

So I’m on Zoloft for like 6 years now. It was prescribed for my panic attacks. I was fine but I was still having some physical symptoms like chest pain, sweats and occasional panic attacks. Everything was fine, I was thriving and than I started taking it as I wanted. Not because I was going to stop but bc sometimes I forgot to take it, then I didn’t take it for 7 days or 4 days. I was changing hours. It was like this for a year or even more. Month ago, from nowhere I started having panic attacks and awful anxiety. I started being agoraphobic (im also a uni student who’s graduating in like a month…).

I started taking Zoloft regularly and IT WAS AWFUL… I was having every possible side effects you can think of - from being in constant state of anxiety, constant panic attacks, headaches, eating was hard, constant diarrhea, sleepless nights etc etc.

Now those symptoms of Zoloft are gone but today I started taking Pregabalin. Because of not taking Zoloft regularly and having a really stressful life (to the point I was just in my bed crying all day - project after project and bachelor thesis) that I developed GAD… my body just did a shut down (like windows 11).

So take your meds guys, don’t do the same thing like i did, be more careful, don’t up your dose or taper without consulting with doc. I was stupid af and this is what I get for it.

I hope everyone stay safe <333

Starting pregab for GAD

Hi everyone! So today I just stared taking 25mg of pregabalin for my anxiety. Well I was so scared of taking that and I ended having 2 panic attacks (but I’m good now).

Tbh I was hoping (plus my doc said that) that I will be sleepy but I’m just hungry… in two days I’m starting taking it also in the morning so maybe it will change.

I’m just scared of meds and looking for community so yeah that’s it you can tell me your experience with pregab for GAD <333
