Albania itinerary check and suggestion.

Hey everyone! 25M from Canada, planning my solo trip to Albania from Sept 2–10.

I’ll be flying into Corfu, Greece, then taking the ferry to Saranda. I’m flying out of Tirana (TIA) on Sept 10, so I want to slowly make my way north and finish with around 2 nights in Tirana.

I’m trying to figure out the best itinerary without making the trip exhausting. I don't want to just sit on beaches the entire time. I want a mix of Albanian culture, traditional food/music/dancing, historical places, meeting locals and other travellers, beautiful beaches, beach clubs, boat trips, bars/nightlife, plus enough time to actually relax.

Places I'm currently considering:

Saranda — around 3 nights BASE

  • Stay downtown near the promenade
  • Explore Sarandë
  • Ksamil + beach clubs
  • Butrint
  • Blue Eye
  • Possibly Gjirokastër as a day trip
  • Bars/nightlife

Himarë — around 2–3 nights BASE

  • Beaches
  • Old Himarë / castle
  • Group boat trip to Gjipe, caves and hidden beaches
  • Beach bars
  • Considering Pine Side Camp for the social atmosphere

Tirana — around 2 nights (should i just do 1 day here?)

  • Explore the city/history
  • Albanian food/culture
  • Traditional Albanian music/dancing
  • Blloku nightlife
  • Fly out of TIA on Sept 10

That still leaves me with some flexibility. I originally wanted to see Shala River, Theth and Shkodër, but I don't want to ruin the trip by trying to fit the entire country into 8 days. Is there somewhere else that's worth adding? Please, I am very open to suggestions. I also want to experience the Albanian valle. For anyone who has solo travelled Albania, I'd really appreciate recommendations. Would you change anything about my route or number of nights?

Also, if anyone else is travelling around Albania during Sept 2–10 and wants to meet up, explore together, grab food/drinks, hit a beach club or make some plans, feel free to message me! And if any locals are around and would be down to hang out, show me some local spots or go out for drinks/nightlife, I'd love that too. Always happy to meet new people and make some friends along the way. 🇦🇱🍻

Thank you in advance!

25M Canadian 🇨🇦 | Looking for travel buddies — Albania + Amalfi Coast 🇦🇱🇮🇹 | Sept 2–13

Hey everyone! I’m 25M from Canada 🇨🇦 and looking for some fun people to potentially join me for part (or all) of my upcoming Europe trip.

I’ll already be in France for a family wedding, and from there I’m heading off on a solo trip:

🇦🇱 Albania: Sept 2–9
🇮🇹 Naples / Amalfi Coast: Sept 9–13

I absolutely love travelling and exploring new places. I’ve been to around 14 countries so far and have done quite a few solo trips, so I’m pretty comfortable planning everything and getting around.

I’m looking for people around my age or a bit older who are down to explore, experience the local culture, hit the beaches, try good food, enjoy the nightlife, meet new people, and just make some great memories along the way.

Male or female doesn’t matter. I’m genuinely just looking to meet cool people, make lifelong travel friends, and have a good time. And if planning trips stresses you out, you’re in luck 😂 I’ll be making the itinerary, so you can pretty much just show up and enjoy the trip. Obviously we can change things around depending on what everyone wants to do.

I’m also really into making travel content and recently started posting my trips on Instagram. You can DM me for my @ if you want to check out my page and see my vibe before deciding.

You don’t necessarily have to join for the entire trip either. If you’ll already be in Albania, Naples, or the Amalfi Coast around these dates and want to meet up or travel together for a few days, I’m down for that too.

If this sounds like your kind of trip, send me a DM and tell me a little about yourself! ✈️🌍

Let’s make some memories 🤝

25M Toronto. Looking for travel/road trip buddies to make the most of summer 🌄🚗

Hey everyone!

I’m 25M from Toronto and looking for people around my age who’d be down for spontaneous road trips, weekend getaways, or even a cheap flight somewhere.

I’m thinking places in Ontario, the U.S., or anywhere in Canada that’s actually worth the drive. mountains, lakes, scenic routes, hidden gems, national parks… anything with amazing views and good vibes. I’m also open to flying somewhere if we find a good deal.

I am a travel freak and travel to Europe pretty often, but this summer I want to do something different. Meet new people, make lifelong memories, and enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

I recently started creating travel content too, so it’d be awesome if you help me out with it, and making fun reels. the main goal is to have fun and make good memories.

The idea would be to get a small group (around 4–5 people), rent a car, split the costs, and head out on some unforgettable adventures.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, send me a DM and follow me on Instagram so we can connect there and start planning something. Let’s make the most of what’s left of summer. ✌️

Any beginner tennis players in the GTA want to practice together? 🎾

Hey everyone! I’m 25M

I just had my first tennis lesson… and let’s just say I realized I’m absolutely terrible. 😂

I’m looking for other beginners around Mississauga, Brampton, or anywhere in the GTA who are also learning and just want to get out and practice without worrying about being good.

The idea is to make a small group where we can meet up, rally, improve together, and just have fun this summer. No pressure, no experience needed. we’re all learning.

If you’re interested, leave a comment or send me your Instagram, and I’ll make a group chat if enough people are down.

Even if tennis isn’t the only thing, I’m always down for other summer activities too. Let’s make the most of the good weather! ☀️🎾

Any Italians willing to take a curious Canadian as their plus one? 😅

Hey everyone!

This is probably one of the most random posts you'll see today. 😅

I'm a 25M Canadian visiting Italy during the first week of September 2026, and one thing that's always been on my bucket list is experiencing an authentic Italian wedding. I love learning about different cultures, and I feel like weddings are one of the best ways to experience local traditions, food, music, and family celebrations.

To be clear, I'm **not** expecting random couples to invite a stranger to their wedding. 😂 I realized after posting this elsewhere that people thought I was planning to crash someone's wedding.

I was thinking more along the lines of naturally meeting people while travelling, making some local friends, or maybe, if Reddit works its magic, this post reaches some cool Italians who happen to have a plus one and wouldn't mind sharing that experience with a curious Canadian. If not, no worries at all. I just figured it was worth shooting my shot because you never know.

Has anyone here ever ended up attending a local wedding while travelling? I'd love to hear your story.

Either way, I can't wait to visit Italy. Thanks! 🇮🇹🍷

25M Looking to make new friends in downtown Toronto this summer

Hey everyone!

I'm a 25M from the GTA looking to meet some new people around downtown Toronto this summer.

I recently started getting into sports and have been going out to watch FIFA matches, which has honestly been a lot of fun. I'm a huge Brazil fan 🇧🇷, so if anyone's looking for someone to watch the Brazil game on Sunday, I'm down.

Outside of that, I'm just trying to make the most of the summer. I'd love to:

  • Go hiking
  • Learn tennis (complete beginner 😂)
  • Bar hop on weekends
  • Explore different parts of the city
  • Walk by the waterfront and catch sunsets
  • Join a run club
  • Check out random events or try new hobbies

A bit about me: I'm 24, pretty easygoing, and always down to try something new. I travel whenever I get the chance and love experiencing different cultures, so I'm usually up for anything that's a good time.

If any of that sounds like your vibe, send me a message. And if this post gets enough people interested, we could even make a group chat and plan things together instead of trying to organize one-on-one every time.

Is it weird to want to attend an Italian wedding as a stranger? 😅

I've always wanted to experience an authentic Italian wedding. Not because of the food (although I'm sure that's amazing), but because I've always loved experiencing different cultures and seeing how people celebrate such important moments.

The funny part is, I realized I don't even have Italian friends. 😅

I'm 25M from Canada, and I'll be visiting Italy during the first week of September 2026. I know this is probably a long shot, but if anyone is getting married around that time and wouldn't mind having a respectful stranger tag along as a plus one (or if someone happens to need a plus one), I'd genuinely be honoured.

I'm not looking for a free meal or anything like that; I just think it would be an unforgettable cultural experience. I'm happy to dress appropriately, be respectful, bring a wedding gift, and celebrate with everyone.

Has anyone ever done something like this before? Or is this completely crazy? 😂
