Effexor and Semaglutide

Hi everyone, I’m on 112.5 mg of Effexor and I’ve just started a semaglutide, I’m on day 3 of my shot and I’ve noticed an increase in anxiety. i’m wondering if anyone else is on a semaglutide while taking Effexor and if u are have u noticed a difference in med absorption? It could just be a one off because I started a new medication, but I’ve lost some reading about delayed absorption because of the semaglutide.

Effexor and Semiglutide

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to reach out to see if anyone is on Effexor XR and on a semaglutide? I just started my semaglutide 3 days ago today I woke up extremely anxious. I’ve been on Effexor for two years and yes I have my bad days but today I felt like I was in a constant panic. I’ve been reading and apparently semaglutide slows down the absorption? I spoke to my pharmacy but all I got was “idk it’s a person to person basis” which did not help me as I have a really bad generalized anxiety disorder.

Semaglutide + PCOS

Hi Everyone! Wondering if anyone has been on a semaglutide for their PCOS and their experiences? I have a really bad anxiety disorder (which I am medicate for) and am freaking out about starting this med. I’ve gone through all my options I.e a bunch of different birth controls and metformin, which haven’t worked for me and this is my last option. I think I’m scared of possible getting really low blood sugar. I’ve had all my tests done and I am completely healthy as well as my glucose is immaculate. My insulin resistance is the whole issue.

Any help would be great!

Travelling with RA

Hello everyone! I have health anxiety and just wanted to ask a question. I It’s my first trip since 2015 traveling from Toronto Ontario to the UK (we live in Ontario). We got back about two days ago and my body is completely broken (we did a lot of walking like I was hitting over 20k steps a day to the point my feet would hurt to walk on) and the fatigue is unbearable, all of yesterday which was our first day home I slept and today I woke up feeling better but it’s now midday and I’m ready to nap again. I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced the enhanced fatigue when traveling while inflamed or is there something else going on?

Flying from Heathrow to Toronto

Hello everyone, I’m flying from London Heathrow to Toronto in a week and a half and I am freaking out. I flew from Toronto to London a week ago and I was completely freaked out to the point I almost didn’t get on the plane. I ended up popping an Ativan and was ok. What freaks me out is flying over the ocean. Just looking for some reassurance. We leave in the early evening and arrive in the late evening in Toronto.
