Help me redesign my bedroom into a professional setup

Hey everyone, I’d love some advice on improving my room and especially my sales-call background.

I’ve already given the carpenter the table dimensions, so he’s going to make me a 5.5 ft × 2.5 ft desk. I need a long desk because I’m using a large monitor, but I also need the extra space for other work and equipment.

There are a few things I can’t change:

  • I can’t repaint or change the room color.
  • I can’t replace the bed.
  • I can’t change the position of the desk because I take a lot of sales calls from there.

can change the position of the bed, though, and I’m open to changing pretty much everything else: decor, lamps, plants, shelves, wall decor, accessories, etc.

The first image is the room, and the second image is my current sales-call setup. I spend a lot of time on calls from this exact position, so I want the background to look clean, professional, and intentional on camera.

I’m not trying to make it look like a luxury hotel room. I just want it to look like a professional founder/workspace background without completely changing the room.

What would you change?

I can spend some money on the setup, so I’m open to buying things if they’ll make a noticeable difference.

Thanks!

Need durable ₹30-35k chair - last one's backrest broke in 1 year

Hey Reddit! Can you guys help me out?

I’m looking for a new chair and I’m looking for the best chair I can get around a ₹30 - 35k budget.

My main priorities are:

* Good back support

* Strong and durable build

* A backrest that can handle me leaning back without breaking

* Ideally, a good recline so I can actually lean back and relax

I recently bought a chair from a local market, and the back literally broke when I leaned back a little. It’s only been around a year, so I don’t want to make the same mistake again.

I’ve found a few chairs around ₹35k If you have any other recommendations, especially from brands please let me know.

For reference, I’m around **5'6"–5'7" and 80 kg**.

Oh, just one more thing: I want to chair with a good very strong back. I can lean back on it

What would you guys recommend?

I'm planning to stay in Rishikesh for 20-25 days for my first-ever solo trip, and I'll be working while traveling. Budget isn't a major issue for me. Since traffic gets pretty crazy on the weekends, I'm planning to just stay in and work from a cafe or my hostel on those days.
and i will explore Rishikesh on mon to thursday?

I have a few questions and would love your recommendations:

  1. Best hostels for co-working: Are there any great hostels with comfortable co-working areas where I can sit and work for hours? I have a lot of working days with meetings, and I mainly work night shifts. money is not a issue and i dont want hotel i want hostel
  2. Late-night cafes: Are there any good cafes in Rishikesh that stay open late at night where I can work?
  3. Scooty rental: Is it possible to rent a scooty in Rishikesh without a driving license?

Any advice for a first-time solo traveler would also be super helpful.

and im planning to stay in 1 hostel for 7 days and change hostel every 7 days so i can experience different vibe
