Hi guys I’m just looking for some advice on how I can get my car fixed and it’s been really stressing me out. I bought my first car a Seat Ibiza 1.2 2015 tsi hatchback last November and for the past two months it’s had an issue where it randomly does not start, that car could be working fine for weeks on end and on a random afternoon I would be stranded with the car not starting. The car cranks normally and there is nothing wrong with the fuel delivery it just seems the car isn’t getting that initial spark to start up. I have taken it to a mechanic we have changed the battery, done a full service in the car, replaced fuel filter, spark plugs and coils, changed the start up/cranking sensor and still the issue remains. I have even gotten an obd sensor to see if I can get a code once it doesn’t work but no codes show up.

The mechanic could not replicate the fault and he told me he cannot locate the fault if the car is working fine he needs it to not start which is the challenge. I left it with him for two weeks to see if you could diagnose it but car was working fine so he could not locate anything. My suspicion is that there is some wire somewhere that just disconnects or something. So what do I do now if anyone could give me any advice on what to do with this car I would appreciate so far getting my first car has been an awful experience.
