A few weeks ago I released Swiff, an Android app to run Flash games with a lot of cool features, like an inmense catalog of 100k+ games powered by the Flashpoint Archive, support for on-screen controls and gamepad mapping, support for most Android frontends, and a Newgrounds integration to unlock medals on your favourite games.

After a lot of hard work I can now release a new update for Swiff, Version 1.3.0.

Thanks to technologies like Winlator or FEX, Swiff is now able to use the original Adobe Flash Player to run Flash games directly on Android! Just download an play.

And even though Swiff was originaly made just for Flash games, I decided to expand and add support for J2ME and Scratch games, all of them having all of the features Swiff provides!

Version 1.2 is here!

Recently I released Swiff, a Flash games player for Android, today I released the 1.2 update, which includes Newgrounds integration and HTML5 games support!

Newgrounds integration

Link your Newgrounds account into Swiff and if it detects a Newgrounds compatible game on your library, it will offer you a Newgrounds version! If your game doesn't show on Swiff you can share the webpage link to Swiff to import it easily! (Or if you want, you can copy paste the link on the Add button in Library)

Newgrounds Medals

Newgrounds games allow you to earn medals or post highscores into Newgrounds using your account, get official gamepad layouts made by the game developers or update the game metadata inside Swiff with the most current one on Newgrounds.

You can disable the Swiff medals popup if you only want the in-game one :3

HTML5 games

Modern browser games regulary don't use Flash and use some new tecnologies, Swiff now offers support for them! Copy and paste a Newgrounds game (doesn't have to be Flash) and it will download it! It even offers medals if the game have them!
