Ideas for a potential Tales of the Jedi season 2?

Usually these anthology shows have 3 episodes each on 2 different characters, season 1 gave us two prequel characters (Dooku and Ahsoka) so I would expect a potential season 2 should give us characters from the original era or sequel era. Here are my ideas:

For the original era they could do Ezra Bridger?
For a combination of original and sequel they could do Leia Organa?

For the sequels there’s a couple of good options, we have Rey Skywalker, but I feel like we haven enough info for her right now, which leaves Ben Solo and Finn. I personally think Finn would be a great one because he was set up as being force-sensitive and his journey from Stormtrooper to Jedi finally getting closure would be awesome.

I was thinking the first episode could give us a short story from his childhood, either being taken from his family as an infant (possibly revealing his last name) or him as a child or teenager being raised in the First Order, a really interesting and disturbing element we got from TFA that was never properly explored except maybe in expanded content.

The second episode could be set between TLJ and TROS which could be him, Poe and the Resistance on a mission, maybe on a planet with a strong connection to the force, that shows the first signs where he starts to realise his ability, adding context to his arc in TROS, it could also have a cameo of Rey that briefly shows her either constructing her yellow lightsaber in this time period or fixing Anakin’s saber (but just a short 30 second scene so it doesn’t take focus away from the plot).

The third episode could be a few years after TROS, where Finn is in the middle of his training with Rey and now has a green/blue lightsaber (whichever one looks better) and gives us some content from the New Jedi Order era while showing Rey as a Jedi Master who has taken Finn on as her Apprentice, at this point he is now a capable force user and lightsaber wielder. This episode could either focus on purely training or invent a small conflict for them to face in a battle.

What do you guys think anyway?

This is how I would change some elements of TRoS

To clarify, I’m not a Sequel hater, I love this trilogy, these are just some ways I would prefer TRoS if this trilogy ever got any special editions, extended editions or re-releases. This is how I would personally do it, this is just my opinion and I’m open to any additional suggestions or constructive criticism.

So instead of having Anakin’s lightsaber repaired from the start, she has her yellow lightsaber throughout the movie that she constructed off-screen between TLJ and TRoS, to give her character even more growth and make the destruction of Anakin’s saber more significant. When battling Kylo Ren on Kef Bir with her yellow saber, she leaves it on the Death Star ruins when she leaves to exile herself to Ahch-to, and after Kylo ren throws away his red lightsaber he picks up her yellow one. Then Rey goes to Ahch-to and it is revealed that she’s been carrying around the two halves of Anakin’s broken saber, she throws the lightsaber pieces into the fire and Luke catches them, one in each hand, and the conversation is the same as the movie except when Luke says he and Leia knew Rey was a Palpatine, he reveals that in early failed attempts (before Anakin’s birth) of Palpatine trying to clone himself, the impact of his work caused great disturbances in the force as there was unsafe amount of dark side energy generated from these experiments, causing the force to balance itself (a canon thing from the Darth Plagueis novel) by creating the “chosen one”, resulting in the incredibly rare incident of Anakin’s mother (Shmi Skywalker) getting pregnant from involuntary contact with the midichlorians emitted from this event. This would explain how Anakin was born with no father and such a high midichlorian count, thus making Anakin biologically related to Palpatine and making Rey a biological member of the Skywalker family tree. (It would be stated in the novelisation that Luke learned this while on a personal mission in the gap between ROTJ and TFA, where he investigated his past and heritage on the planet Palpatine cloned himself on, it’s also stated that Luke had multiple encounters with Anakin’s force ghost who guided him through this period of his life as a father). Back to the movie, this reveal is the pivotal moment where Rey accepts who she is, which is closure for the set-up of Leia and Rey’s dark vision telling her this, as she now goes by Rey Skywalker.
Then Luke takes her to Leia’s lightsaber like in the movie and tells her about it and the flashback is shown, then after Luke leaves, she takes out Anakin’s broken lightsaber and she repairs it on screen on Ahch-to, takes her a good few hours so its a bit of a montage, briefly slowing down the fast-pace of the movie and giving Rey a moment of spiritual reflection and character growth. When she’s finished she pulls out the new lightsaber she forged which is a double bladed lightsaber combining Leia’s blue lightsaber with Anakin’s repaired blue lightsaber, which symbolises her acceptance as a Skywalker. Then the movie continues as it did. On Exegol, Rey confronts Palpatine with her blue double bladed lightsaber and when Ben arrives he battles the Knights of Ren with Rey’s yellow saber, which symbolises their force dyad, as they are fighting separated but aiding each other as they use each other’s weapons (Ben using Rey’s and Rey using Ben’s mother and grandfather’s weapons combined), then they both confront Palpatine like they did in the movie, Rey blocks the lightning with her blue double bladed saber and Ben with the yellow saber, then he gets thrown down the hole along with Rey’s yellow saber. Then when Palpatine attacks again at just Rey, she blocks it with Leia’s end of the saber like in the movie at the same angle, with the other end out to the side. After Palpatine says the “I am all the Sith” line, Rey says “and I’m-“ then turns off Anakin’s side of the saber, detaches his hilt from the double bladed saber with her left hand (since they can also be used as two single sabers), flips it to forward grip like in the movie and says “I’m all the Jedi” before igniting it and beating Palpatine with the two blue sabers crossed as we saw in the movie, so we keep that cool scene but adding to it slightly. When Ben crawls out of the hole, everything plays out like it did except we should probably leave out the kiss since they’re related lol. After he dies and his body disappears, Rey’s yellow saber falls to the ground in front of Rey and she takes it with her. At the end on Tatooine, she instead buries the combined double bladed hilt of Anakin and Leia’s sabers in the sand. She then pulls out her yellow lightsaber, signifying herself as a strong, independent Jedi with her own legacy to build. Lastly, when asked “Rey who?” by the lady, she turns to the side and sees Leia, Luke and also Anakin as force ghosts who give proud looks of approval to her, with the addition of Anakin bringing the three trilogies full circle and including all the force-sensitive Skywalkers. This makes the “Rey Skywalker” line feel earned and completes Rey’s character arc. I would also consider the inclusion of Ben Solo’s force ghost at the end but that might be better left open in case he were to return in the future.

Thank you to anyone who took their time to read this, I wrote this from my heart so I appreciate any constructive feedback. Again, I’m not a hater of TRoS at all, these are just some changes to Rey’s arc in the movie that I think would make it more compelling.

I liked Tales from ‘85, but targeting it to such a young age was a big mistake

The franchise would benefit from a more mature cartoon (age 12+) to actually fill gaps between S1 and 2, 3 and 4 or 4 and 5, it didn’t feel inclusive for them to make the first spinoff to this teen/adult show to be so kid-friendly. Many of us want to see what actually happened after season 3 or 4, not just more monster fights that don’t even make sense in the timeline. I’m willing to get past this show but I will be severely disappointed if they never make a proper canon midquel that the actual fans can enjoy without hearing Dustin say “crud” every 2 minutes

Unreasonable expectations from school during exams

In the most recent few exams in my school, the headteacher has come into the exam hall before it starts to make a speech about how people shouldn’t be going to the toilet during exams. On each occasion he used an example that during our English Language exam last week, a total of 16 students asked to go the toilet. (There are 211 students in our year group and at least 200 of them were in that exam). Wow, who could’ve expected that if you lock 200 kids in a room at 9am for 2 hours straight, a small percentage of them will, at some point, need to have a piss. What do you want them to do? If I’m halfway through a 2 hour English exam and I need to go to the toilet, I’m not going to hold it in for the next hour, ruining my focus. Does anyone else’s school say things like this?

(No Spoilers for Mando S3 please) I need some advice before watching the movie

I have tickets to see the movie on Friday but I’m trying to finish the show before I watch it and I have one episode left of BOBF and then I need to watch S3, obviously don’t spoil what happens please, but there’s a chance I don’t finish the show in time so all I’m asking is, if I don’t finish S3 will I be confused about what’s going on when I see the movie or will it not matter? Like I said, please try to answer without spoiling anything important about S3. Thanks for reading

Google AI Overview no longer showing for me! Don’t know whether to be happy or confused about it

As you can see, I searched a few things and the AI overview didn’t come up. I’m curious as to what caused it as I haven’t done anything different

What’s up with people on Reddit saying “Happy cake day” when it’s not your cake day?

For example, look at this URL: https://www.reddit.com/r/teenagers4real/comments/1t727qn/comment/okltkic/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button

Someone wished the OP a “Happy cake day” when the OP’s account was only 7 months old. Cake days are annual. I pointed this out to them and another person replied to me wishing me a “Happy cake day”, I assumed they didn’t understand the meaning and they thought it was just something you say whenever, so I explained the meaning. Then they responded again by saying “Happy cake day 😂✌️”. The emojis made me think, is this some new kind of ragebait people are doing? I’ve seen this a few times recently so I would appreciate someone explaining if there’s a joke I’m not picking up on, or if these specific people just think it’s funny to say it randomly.

I've been hearing it very often recently, and it just annoys me an irrational amount. It's like nails on a chalkboard to me. It just sounds like such an American thing to say and, no disrespect to Americans, it just makes me cringe so much. It doesn't help that it's usually used in the context of a statement I disagree with. Does anyone else feel uncomfortable/infuriated when they see this term on the internet?
