The appreciation and love for TOXIC which it deserves is not given by we kannadigas.

Haven't seen much positive reels/posts about TOXIC/YASH

If it were Telugu or Tamil, the people will defend their star/film no matter how mediocre/flop it is. Ex: Pushpa, Salaar, DC, etc.,

The amount of love they pour for their stars, even directors/music composers is unbelievable. But we are busy slandering our actors/directors/films. When was the last time we genuinely appreciated something?

We won't accept that anything apart from kgf, kantara is good. Even Su from So(which may not be excellent) is more criticised than appreciated by so called intellectuals.

Yash deserves more for what he has done and is doing for the industry.

I believe there is no revenue generation through short films. YouTube might not generate any revenue. Is there any platform or any thing where/how a filmmaker can earn through short film?

Watching a movie in bengluru theatre is too expensive.

I wanted to watch Odessy, but the tickets are too expensive.

Forget IMax(my weeks expense). Even for a regular theatre its around 500.

I've saw good reviews for this movie so I thought of visiting the theatre.

But the same won't apply for any kannada movie.

I'd rather think not twice if I see two or three bad reviews.

Same happened for "mother promise"

I wanted to watch it in theatre but saw the reviews, changed my mind.

The ticket fare in the middle rows are around 300. 100 travelling expense.

I'd wait for OTT release to see if it's truly bad or something. I don't wanna gamble my 400rs for nothing.

If the prices are reduced. Around 100/150. People like me might not calculate the expenses, rather visit the theatre and might not hesitate to walk out if it turns bad.

The reduction of fee will definitely boost ticket sales, especially in Bengaluru.

Need help in screenwriting

Hi

Aspiring writer here. I have written a story and when I try to write it as screenplay, I under express. I couldn't write every visual detail. If feel those details are understood or something.

I've read 'Save the cat', it has Techniques for a compelling stories, structure and others. But I can't write a detailed screenplay of around 100pages estimated(47 pages currently)

I believe this is 100min screenplay but number of pages say otherwise.

I have basic knowledge of screenwriting, it's formats and read a few scipts.

I need your help, please tell me how to overcome this big/small obstacle. Do I need to read any specific book, any specific video or anything else?

What is the lowest possible budget to make a movie?

If cast isn't paid. Camera and rigs are self-owned. Locations are free. Crew is friends. Pre and post is doing by ourselves. Where else the money goes except for promotions?
