What makes resurrection so good?

I wanna hear what you guys think since I always see it getting highly praised and rated pretty much everywhere and especially here, getting placed amongst the first four seasons. I personally don't find it anywhere near that level, I thought it was entertaining but the writing was simply not there. No hate intended.

Exactly what odors are harmful to birds?

I know scented candles, perfumes, aerosol sprays and so on are harmful, but exactly what in them is the harmful stuff or is it all bad? For example in perfumes I assume it's the alcohol that's bad, but are the rest of the fragrant oils harmful?

Note that I don't mean to start using any fragrance around my bird harmful or not, I'm just curious

I think my bird is sick

He was acting pretty energetic then just fluffed up and started opening his beak (like in the video) over and over. When I was asleep my parents took him out on the balcony where he stood in the sun, I don't know for how long. I'll try to get him to the vet today but for now if anyone has advice or something I'd appreciate it

Note: No tail bobbing, it looks that way because he was just wobbling in general. He took a more stable stance and his tail is fine now. He's still alert, just acting sleepy. When I took him inside his beak seemed to be a bit agape as if he was panting so he probably overheated but I'm not sure it's what's causing this. We turned the AC on just in case.

Is this a cavity?

Sorry for the bad photo. I'm pretty sure it is but I still want to ask. I pressed on the spot with a toothpick and it feels a little sensetive + there seems to be a crack? I hope it isn't too deep but the crack isn't giving me much confidence.

Why is my bird's beak peeling like this?

Not really peeling but it's rough. The grey part is usually longer, the bottom of it I'm guessing broke off a month or two ago. I guess calcium deficiency? I've slowly been introducing veggies into his diet though but he still eats seeds, could it be because of the food?

Top 5 worst line in the entire Dexter franchise

"I imagined her naked plenty of times but never like this." Masuka concludes after an analisys of Rita's dead body.

And don't argue "oh its just Masuka he says things at inappropriate times". When Angel got stabbed he was completely serious but whichever fucking idiots crawled into the writers room once season 5 started decided it shouldn't apply to his coworker's dead wife.

Trinity's builds

In my country there's a legend that it was a practice in the past to place dead people in the foundations of buildings and build over them because it made them stronger. Trinity did basically that with the 10 year old victims. I bet its just a coincidence but I wanted to point it out.

Need some advice for my bird's diet

I've learned from this subreddit that a seed only diet is atrocious so I'm going to switch my bird off of it. I made chop for the first time today, just a small portion but I didn't chop it finely enough + I gave it to him cold (things were from a frozen veggie pack) so he didn't eat it + there wasn't much variety anyway, I plan on making a proper batch tomorrow so I'll work on that.

I'm pretty familiar at this point what's supposed to be in chop but not sure how to store it. I know it's meant to be frozen and stored into portions. How often do you change out the portions (in case your bird hasn't finished the previous one)? Do you leave the portions out to warm up a little before giving them to your bird? Ideally I want to make a big batch that will last a while but I'm not sure how big to make it and if the frozen stuff goes bad. I'm probably forgetting to ask something as well so I would really appreciate a guide

And about pellets I've found out those are also good. I'll see if I can get any in person before ordering online, I've heard Harrison's is good. I wanna ask how often do you give them pellets and how much?

Dexter will never truly have a good ending (Little rewrite included)

We all know the saying that goes seasons 1-4 were best and after that the show became sloppy and now is trying to redeem itself via the spinoffs, which also means the ending. But in my opinion the show would have needed to ended long ago to have a good ending.

Basically I think it would have been best if the fifth season was the final one which would have everything good that was scattered throughout 4 placed into 1. Maybe the structure of the show would need to be moved around a bit or they would need to repeat the BHB plotline. My main idea for the rewrite is for Dexter to completely shut down after Rita's death and come to the conclusion he had in s8 ( "I destroy everyone I love." ) He actually flees Miami, distressed and lost, feeling stripped of all humanity. (For this to work there would need to be something going on with Debra, no ideas there) He stays out of Miami for some time. At first he feels soothed, being alone and out of sight, but he begins realizing he misses the human part of himself and the connection he had with others. He can't stand being apart from his son anymore so he comes back to Miami. A few variables here. 1 Harrison was put in foster care but I wouldn't go this route. 2 Debra was looking after him. 3 Astor and Cody's grandparents were caring for him. Either way once Dexter reunites with him his family will question where he dissapeared and why. Possibly he aroused suspicion among authorities and is being investigated. Debra lets him in on this information, now a little suspicious due to his ominous behavior then dissapearing but not truly believing he had something to do with Rita's death for now.

I'm gonna just round it out here and say he tries going back to work but can't keep his mask on like before + he feels as if everybody is now suspicious of him and it puts him on edge. He isolates himself from everyone else, staying only with his son, desperately trying to nurture and comfort him by himself, terrified by the idea that he could end up just like him.

Something here would need to happen to tip off a true investigation onto him. Maybe he's spotted talking to someone who dissapears shortly after, maybe someone looks into his blood reports, noticing a pattern - blood reports that say that a suspected perp isn't guilty, then said suspect goes missing shortly after. This could also be linked with BHB cases. Ultimately Dexter gets found out. I know this isn't the most satisfying ending, it's just nothing going Dexter's way for a whole season. There would need to be some heavy tweaks for it to be. Another idea is to keep season 5's premise of redemption, maybe lumen still exists but let the barrel girls case not be the focus.

Every season is formulaic - a main killer who is hunted throughout the season, but now that Dexter's life and psyche have basically fallen apart it would be the time to stray from it. You could count season 2 as such but this hypothetical season would barely care about what the PD is doing at all, it would only come in focus when they begin pursuing Dexter as a person of interest.

It's 4 am and I think when I read this back tomorrow I'll be wondering how I was spewing this bullshit for half an hour straight. I'll post now and maybe edit tomorrow. Anyway I was planning on talking about resurrection too but we'll see when I get to that. For my full opinion on it just watch Killa Whale's video on YouTube about it. There's more past it that I want to comment on but for now goodnight.

How do I get this shit off my skin

I sprayed Ana Abiyedh Leather by Lattafa on the back of my wrist about an hour ago and I can't get it off. I've scrubbed with three face washes and two soaps. It won't come off. If you look on its fragrantica page I'm sure you'll be able to spot my review. Please help I can't stand it anymore.
