Should I do my exchange program in Japan?

Hello, I’m a Mexican student considering to do a semester exchange at Japan. I’m studying a BA in international relations and I’m looking for universities with a good academic level, student support, safety and classes of sociology, political science or international relations. Do you think it’s a good idea to choose Japan for my career? I think it would be good because of my country’s relationship with Japan. If you do recommend Japan and not another place, which universities would you recommend or would avoid?

If I'm studying International Relations, where should I do my exchange program?

Where do you recommend I should do my semester exchange program?

or which places should I avoid?

Sadly my university doesn't offer the options where I wanted to go to , so now I can't seem to find my best options. I'm mainly looking for places in europe or asia. Some of the places offered on my school's list are:

austria, georgia, germany, hungary, japan, turkey, vietnam, thailand, mongolia, malaysia, laos, indonesia, china, canada, cambodia, etc. If you recommend one of these countries what universities do you recommend there or would avoid?

Taking in count that im looking for classes of sociology, polisci, and international relations. And considering academic level, student life, and safety there especially for women.
