Childhood Binder
Planning on going to a local card show to sell the whole binder at once to fund a big trip, what would be fair? Most are LP, some are MP/damaged
MAID in NY
Maid in NY goes into effect on August 5th, the requirements, on paper at least, sound very accommodating for those suffering from ALS. They specifically have in writing that the oral request can come from an eye gaze device and the final act of taking the medication can be done using a tool or assistive device, the patient just has to perform the final act that administers the medication. I know that not everyone is supportive of MAID but I think that this a huge option for those in NY that are looking at end stages and what comes next.
Scary symptoms?
Recently diagnosed with sjogrens and sfn but still waiting on an emg because my symptoms are so bad. Have been having facilitations in random spots all over my body that generally start at rest after exertion and last for a couple minutes before stopping. Also having clicking and popping in all of my joints, including my spine and neck that seem to just be getting worse. Throat and tongue feel weird and weaker but still can talk and swallow fine. I also have the tingling/burning and shocking pretty much throughout my whole body from the sfn. I’m just wondering if anyone else has such a crazy range of symptoms to at least ease my mind a little that I’m not the only one. I’m hoping that this is all caused by the autoimmune issues and sfn honestly and not something worse (even though I realize it’s still not a good diagnosis). Also to note that I do not have any clinical weakness or issues moving or using any limbs, but they seem to be getting bonier? My hands are like skeletons and my shoulders and calves have lost a lot of mass. Sorry for such a long ranting post and thanks to anyone that read and has any input. Listening to others experiences is the only thing giving me hope at this point.
Pain after rest
I’ve seen a lot of people say that they feel better in the mornings when they wake up. I’m currently in the waiting period for my biopsy to come back but I’m interested if anyone else has the same experience as me. I feel absolutely wrecked after I wake up in the morning, like I was ran over by a bus in my sleep. After I get up and around I start to feel better mid-day and then start to fatigue again towards the end of the day. Anyone else feel worse in the mornings or after resting?
Forgot about this
I was looking at listings on eBay for this card and I checked my purchase history randomly and noticed that I had already bought it back in 2022, looked everywhere for it, it was on a random page in the middle of my binder by itself
Semi-eBay turbo build
I’ve been running this lazy turbo build for about a year now with no issues. I went this route because I was going to do a full eBay DIY build originally and then quickly realized that some of it was not within my abilities. It’s a 1.6 1990 that I bought for 2 grand during COVID. It has zero issues beside the typical oil drips from the crank seal (which I am too scared to replace). About half the build is legit parts and the other half is eBay.
eBay parts
Turbo (generic t25)
Intercooler
Intercooler piping
Radiator
1 smaller radiator fan to fit the intercooler piping
Catback (Manzo with a silencer)
Boost gauge
Adjustable wastegate actuator
Legitimate parts
SpeedyEFI ecu
Kraken manifold and downpipe
Flyin Miata oil lines
Flowforce 1000cc injectors
Torsen Differential
Flyin Miata happy meal clutch kit
HKS intake filter (I had it laying around)
AEM wideband
It doesn’t look pretty but it was super easy to piece everything together. The intercooler sits at an angle because I used the generic piping that was included and didn’t cut it at all. I also don’t have coolant lines running to the turbo or a blow off valve. I have had no issues from either. If I had the money to buy a full kit at the time I would have, but I was broke and Flyin Miata was out of stock on their 1.6 kits. Everything still works surprising well. The car makes 10psi at around 4000 rpm’s currently and is super fun!
Hold or sell
Got an offer for market value on the whole Rumble set, would you sell or hold?
Animation Cel
I bought this a long time ago for very cheap, it’s been sitting in a box protected for years and I finally got a UV resistant frame to display it. I’m still keeping it out of sunlight just to be safe. It’s from the opening sequence, not the craziest cel to own but I still like having a piece of the show!
Thoughts?
I’m sending it in regardless but dumbass 16 year old me put this in a top loader without a penny sleeve, front looks perfect still but there is some minor whitening along the bottom of the back. How much do you think this would knock me down? Still potential for a 9? Or probably an 8?
Blaming myself
I’m 28 and just diagnosed. I’ve been having progressing symptoms for the past year. They started almost immediately after a neck injury that I sustained at work due to lifting heavy bins improperly. I thought at first that it was just a spine issue causing my atrophy and weakness but that has been ruled out. I blame myself every day for what happened. Obviously there was no way to know that it would trigger ALS but there were obvious ways that I could have prevented the injury. I can’t help but think that I basically killed myself. This may not be the place to vent about this but I don’t want to burden those around me any more than they already are. Thank you for listening if you did and I hope you all have a good day.
Simplest rotation class for disabled player
I am disabled and just started playing the game, I am using only eye tracking to play and am very slow with reaction speed. I’m looking for the class that has the least responsibility with the simplest rotation and a low movement requirement, ideally 8 abilities or less to manage at once as that’s all that I can fit on my screen. I’m mainly going to be playing solo but just in case I want to do group content in the future I don’t want to bring other players down. I’m sure this has been asked before but thanks in advance!
Edit: I can realistically go up to whatever number of abilities is necessary, I basically have an Xbox controller on my screen that I hit buttons on with my eyes, so essentially I’m just looking for whatever job has the least amount of abilities and lowest responsibility. I definitely will not be playing super well but I’m determined to make it work.
Edit: thanks for all the recommendations guys I didn’t expect this many responses you’re all awesome
