So, I have two Samsung 870 EVO SSDs, both are 2tb. Recently, my computer crashed. it wasnt even a bsod it literally just turned off and then turned on again. i decided to check event viewer to see and while there was a critical failure, i also saw that one of my SSDs had literally been making thousands of errors. like multiple every single second, saying "The device, \Device\Harddisk2\DR2, has a bad block."

i tried chkdsk and it found a ton of "bad clusters" which it replaced. i then ran it again and it found more bad clusters. every time i run it, it finds more bad clusters. i dont know if these bad clusters are appearing between each check or if it's just not finding them all in one go.

anyway, i then downloaded crystaldiskinfo because i had found out that it might be able to tell me whats wrong. but it says that my SSDs health status is "Good" and at 99%. how does a good health status and a billion errors and bad clusters make sense?

also, my other SSD is now giving me these errors too. same story, bad clusters, thousands of errors in event viewer, crystaldiskinfo says everything is fine. i even downloaded samsungs own crappy tool Magician which also tells me there's nothing to worry about. the SSDs are not even the same age, i got one of them way before the other. according to crystaldiskinfo my total writes on them are 32tb and 19tb.

i have two other drives, my C drive which is a kingston nvme something with 1tb, and a samsung 990 pro nvme with 4tb on it. both of those are completely fine. recently my computer crashed again. the first crash was a clock_watchdog_timeout and the other one was video_scheduler_internal_error. i figured the last one had something to do with my gpu and i hadnt updated the gpu drivers in a long time so i did that. SSDs are still messing with me though

so what? are they both somehow failing at the same time somehow? they are both on the same like power cable from the psu i think so could it be that?

Le Sserafim just announced a new tour and I really want to go so im going to sign up for the raffle. However, they say they’re going to check my ID at the concert. I understand this as they’re going to check my passport and compare it to the name on my membership yes?

If that is correct, I have another question just because I want to be completely sure. I have 4 “names in my name”. Let’s say my name is John James Jameson Johnson. I have always liked “John Jameson” better than “John Johnson”, and my name on my membership is “John Jameson”. However, on my passport it says first name(s): “John James Jameson”, last name: “Johnson”. Will that matter when they check my ID? Like will they allow entry even though it’s not technically my last name? Or would i be screwed?
