I'm a candidate for cataract surgery to replace my right eye lens. Due to Anisometropia, I have severe headaches and dizziness. It's early days yet but the opthomalogist has already recommended multifocal over monofocal. The latter is covered by insurance, the former is not and would cost 3,800 to 4,500.
I was excited about the multifocal option but am now concerned about known side effects. I understand one multifocal lens is not usually recommended and ideally, it should be done bilaterally?
I'm now leaning towards monofocal but it would not fix my astigmatism. I think mini monovision would work for me since I've spent my life with differing eyesight anyway. Decreasing the diopter difference significantly should help with the headache and dizziness?
Right eye: -4.25 +1.50 × 090, 20/25−
Left eye: PL (plano) -0.25 × 125, 20/20
I don't offer that often but when I have, I have never had one picked up. And I notice the same for other shifts offered as they stay on the calendar.

I signed in successfully for peacock, HBO and Netflix. I can't figure out how to sign up for the now stream that has over 270 channels. I have tried xfinity chat and the app but they have been useless. Came to reddit for help.
I found a passport card today at about 11:30am on a Glenmont bound train. Found it after boarding the 2nd car at Bethesda. Upon returning to Bethesda, I handed it to the station employee.
