I’m 21, but open to any and all types of low energy hobbies/clubs like reading or board games or whatever. I only know of the st Tammany parish book clubs and was wondering if anyone knew of anything else. I’m specifically looking for active groups to socialize in and am open to making new friends in the area. Links or any info on where to find these groups is greatly appreciated.

Guns N’ Roses - Attitude
Dax Riggs - Skulls

I am aware of Dax, Sammy, and Audie’s side projects but couldn’t seem to find anything else on Mike or Jimmy regarding their musical output after Acid Bath.

I don’t get it. I just did some light digging into who and what Rotten Records did and I guess what they continue to do to this day and it just amazes me. For example, the owner??, tried to get them arrested by setting them up and making it look like they were stealing from his garage? He also didn’t put Acid Bath on streaming until 2020??!!!. What is going on? I’m trying to figure out a way to ethically support the band without giving Rotten money if I can help it. Do all merch sales go to Rotten? Please let me know if this is in bad spirit to post here as I’m not fully familiar with the story. Does someone where to be directed to like a previous forum or something to get validated answers.

I’ve been listening to Thing in a Jar the last few days and it continues to amaze me along other songs I keep discovering of his and listening for the first time. He seems to have a very expansive catalogue of both released and unreleased songs. So I’m curious. What is his most technically impressive song vocally?

Jimmy is by far one of my favorite drummer songwriters along with Danny Carey. The bell he uses is also pretty neat and I think adds to the atmosphere of a lot of the songs

The only other artist that I can think of that I know of that came a little bit close to building that kind of atmosphere is Dax Riggs.
For example:
Dax Riggs - The Skeletal Circus Derails
Dax Riggs- Thing in A Jar

What I mean by songwriting is not necessarily the time signatures or complexity but rather the full embodiment of emotion in their music and the atmosphere that Radiohead is able to build. I struggle to find other bands/artists and was wondering if y’all knew of any other bands/artists.

Edited to add:
If I had to describe it would be like the melancholy/ soulful/ deeply human side of their music

Neutral Milk Hotel also kinda fits into this with some of their songs

as well as

The Microphones The Glow Pt. 2 Album

Im a fairly new fan but I recently heard the skeletal circus derails and it’s for me easily his number 1 song. I don’t understand why this didn’t get officially released and how it got onto the internet? What’s the backstory behind it?

Dax did a different rendition of a song off of one of his solo albums back around the early 2010s or late 2000s. There was someone I think on synth. All I remember is it sounded very haunting and radio head like. I can’t remember the name of the track but remember watching the live performance of the song on YouTube.

Edited to add: it was live and I think it was off the album say goodnight to the world

It’s been a long time since I read these books and the tv show. The one episode that scared me the most was one I can’t remember well. It’s centered around a house and I think his friends fake their death and turn out to be aliens.???? Also a character gets eaten by a laundry basket full of dirty clothes I think. I don’t remember this in any of the books but I came here to try and figure out if any of this sounds familiar?

Edited to add:
I found it. It’s Haunted House Game.

The only ever time I’ve heard of a similar feeling is in the end of Dirty Boots by Sonic Youth. It was really euphoric and not noisy at all in spite of what they are known for.
