Yes, it has been a little rainy here, but not so bad that we should be losing the signal from our sat dish. But it seems like occasionally lately, whenever I switch the channel, it will tell me it is moving me to streaming via internet. Or, I'll be watching a show, and a message pops up with something like "recording not available while streaming" ... when I am on a dish account, and I'm not even trying to record. Are they forcing everyone into streaming now?

And before anyone asks why I don't just move to streaming, it is because we travel in our RV and have a sat dish on that as well. Streaming in most campgrounds is not an option, and some campgrounds will threaten to kick you out if you use their wifi to stream ... so we keep our dish.

I paid for Paramount+ to be on our TVs for a long time, and then one day when I went to login either on the TV or on my DIRECTV account online, it said that I could have Paramount+ included in my DIRECTV.

So I went to Paramount+ and canceled my subscription, and then put in the DirecTv information, and I’ve been watching Paramount + ever since.

But then last night it came up, asking me to make a selection and choose the provider, and it would not let me choose DirecTV. And then I tried putting the code in from my Samsung TV into the Paramount + app and it kept telling me that the code was wrong.

So I went on Paramount+ and signed up again for the $14 a month subscription, but I’m wondering if anybody has any ideas as to why something might have changed with DIRECTV and Paramount+?

And I do not have any of the upper level movie channels if somebody’s wondering about that. That’s one of the reasons I was kind of surprised when it gave me the option months ago to tie in Paramount+ to DirecTV because I only have what I consider to be basic DirecTV except for sports and all of the channels above 500.

We have a 2016 Winnebago Journey 40R, which is primarily all tile, except the area of the floor on the long wall slide.

I’m guessing the slide is about 28’ long, and the carpet is maybe 36” at the widest point, with the majority of the carpet being about 24” wide.

The side of the carpet towards the exterior wall butts up to cabinetry along the whole slide … and the carpet on the interior side is bound, because it is loose so it comes up over the floor when the slide comes in.

So my question is: how do we go about replacing it? Or I should say, where would we be able to order such an odd sized long piece of carpet that is bound on one side? I’m just unsure where to start. Thx!

We just left your beautiful area, and we all loved it. It is so beautiful, and all of the flowers that the towns have out were stunning. And many thanks to all of the residents who match their gardens so they’re just as gorgeous.

Observation: we sort of felt like we were in Maine or New Jersey … the house styles, the water everywhere, the lighthouses … and from a few locals: that sort of short, curt attitude like they really didn’t want us there. But that was not the case with the J1 folks who were working everywhere, who were so happy and friendly!

Question: As you’re driving from Egg Harbor to Sturgeon Bay on the main road … there is a 2-story brick house on the right that is unoccupied, close to the road, with vines and stuff growing over a big portion of the house … does anyone know the story of the house and why it’s abandoned? I’m just a curious person and wonder how such a large and beautiful home was just left.

Observation: Pebble Beach sucks rocks! 😬 It’s beautiful, but I can’t see any attraction to want to go there. It’s dangerous to walk on all those rocks, and yet people were laying on towels like they were at a regular sand beach. 🫪

Question: Can anyone tell me about the different corn grown in the area? Some of it was the shortest corn I’ve ever seen, some of it was about mid-height, and a smaller amount was normal tall corn. 🌽

Observation: We camped at the HTTR Rv Campground, and we never once saw a squirrel or really any birds … and never saw any road signs for bears, elk, deer, etc. I would have assumed we would hear about those kinds of critters. 😬

Question for the locals who like outdoor activities, do people have more outdoor toys like jet skis, paddle boats and regular boats … or cross country skis, snow mobiles and other winter toys?

Okay, that’s all. I’ll end by saying that we would for sure come and visit again. The traffic was minute compared to a ton of other tourist areas, every town was so cute, and the scenery was to die for!! 💙☮️

As I drive my 43’ motorhome towing my Jeep, I always look over at huge drop offs and think ‘if I had a tire blowout right here at this moment, is that guardrail really going to stop my motorhome from plunging off that cliff if I lose control?’

Just thinking.🤔

We just left Tennessee… but drop offs on the freeways like this are everywhere.

In a couple of my past posts about visiting Door County, someone made a comment about something very small and kind of cool that we should stop by and see, but I cannot find that comment anywhere. They made it sound like it was some sort of a religious memorial or something and they said it was very small and it’s actually located in somebody’s backyard. Does that sound familiar to anybody?

We are staying in Egg Harbor. Where is/are the best lighthouse(s) that we should see? (I thought I remember someone here saying there were lighthouses?) 🤷🏼‍♀️

We just got to our campground in your beautiful county and I’m having a problem with my satellite dish on the RV. Does anybody by chance know of a satellite installer in the area? They’re typically people that install and repair satellite dishes for RVs and boats. Thx!

We will be heading out in the morning in our RV towing a Jeep leaving Janesville and headed to Egg Harbor. We are wondering if we should go on I 41, or add a few minutes to the trip and go up the coast on I 43?

I’m looking for design sites or digitizers that sell their own designs … but I’m not wanting the same designs you see in every Etsy shop. I’d love to see some new shops and designers. Anybody want to share?

So I started making handbags after taking off for about 2 years to learn the craft, and just launched my website and social marketing (i.e., posting on Pinterest, FB, IG). I got several orders last week (yay me!), and one of them is from a FB friend. We have been FB friends for about 15 years and have many friends in common, but I have only met a few of them in person. This friend is also a small business owner/artist I have bought from in the past.

She emailed me four days ago that she got her handbag and really likes it, and thanked me. I put a thank you card with all of my orders and it has a QR code that will take them directly to the item they ordered so they can leave a review ... which she hasn't done.

So now I am suffering from imposter syndrome wondering if maybe the bag wasn't to her liking, maybe the quality wasn't up to the standard she thought it would be ... but I really want to ask her to leave a review.

Is there a way for me to email her and ask her if she was happy with the bag and could she please go and leave me a review ... without me sounding desperate? I know not to wait too long to email back about her satisfaction, but I'm also fearful she will say she didn't like it, or she'll just stay quiet.

I have ordered handbag hardware multiple times on AE, but have yet to figure out how to order higher quality items that are individually wrapped in protective film. Sometimes the stuff just comes loose in a baggy, and other times the products are wrapped individually to prevent the finish from getting scratched.

I'm on there right now, and every time I click on an item I previously ordered, it goes to a 404 page cannot be found, so that's not an option when trying to see if I can find the ones I liked.

Any tips and help will be so appreciated!!! xx
