Almost all of my matches in emerald the enemy team has multiple former (like a season or two ago) gms and top 500s/champ players. Every game is a huge stomp, and idk what I am meant to do really. It is not fun at all, but almost every match I have played for the last week has just been "plats/emeralds vs some emeralds and two gm+ players who stomp all game".
I am an "incel", as in the original meaning, not the bigotry or anger stuff. I do not ever describe myself as one to other people, nor do I ever speak about romantic/sexual topics.
But recently one of my close friends was talking to me, asked me about it, and I told her about it (not been able to date, being a virgin, very unattractive, etc. but I never used the word incel, though she did since it's what I am technically). Almost immediately, she told me to not let other women know that, since it would make a lot of them feel uncomfortable/unsafe.
If that knowledge does generally make women feel unsafe/uncomfortable, then I'd rather just be honest and not lie/hide it. Since hiding it would basically be manipulation.
My mmr isn't changing, despite being on a 27 losing streak from Diamond down to the bottom of emerald.
I am still facing masters on average, even a few grand masters, and every single game is a major stomp.
Why is my mmr not dropping? I should be well below masters range by now, yet I am continuously facing very uneven teams.
Emerald so far has just been "who gets the more masters players", and I am not having any fun. Just super uninteractive games where nothing my team does matters.
So I just want to drop already, yet the game isn't letting my account go below masters mmr.
I just have no words really. Every game is a loss in quickplay. I do not want to continue ranked this season until my games aren't at least semi-close in qp.
But they never are. They are always horrific spawn-trapped stomps. Literally every single game.
I know the whole "if its every match it's you", but is isn't. I am consistently the highest rank and performer on the team as a diamond support. My teammates are genuinely unreal, often having next to zero mechanical skill, and are frequently very new players. Like, they need to ask what anti is halfway in the match.
Enemy team? Very frequently masters+ players, and are ALWAYS extremely talented players with absurd mechanics and teamwork. I have faced multiple top 500s players so far. Not on my team once though over dozens and dozens and dozens of games.
I got close to winning one today. Server shut down, reset the match and we lost.
What do I even do. I never get players on my team who even know how to move correctly. I know I need to "just be better", but I am at a loss. At a certain point, I cannot 1v5 as a support. I can often 1v2, but I can't play all roles at once.
I have lost every single game against Freja on support this season. They always go 30+ unchallenged, and just instantly kill my dps as well as me and the other support. She has insane mobility, tiny hitbox, next to no drop off, and can get her ult like twice a fight.
I am in diamond right now, and if we do not ban Freja, we will always get rolled by one. I don't even know what to do against her. Her only counter play is hiding, and that's not even viable since she can jump over walls and is always pocketed by either a mercy or juno in the air with her.
She wins every duel, and has insane mobility/uptime she diving her or trying to catch her off guard/on cooldown is basically impossible.
All that plus the noise spam, and just how unfun she is to face.
Every match I face a competent rien, it's unwinnable. He deletes my health if i don't run away, and he makes so much space for his dps by just existing that my dps can never ever compete. Doesn't help most Rien players are ultra toxic when they win.
I play only Winston and Ram. Even though Ram is "good" into him, he still can just swing and easily beat me in a duel. If he receives any healing or any extra dps it's unwinnable.
In almost all my recent games (last two weeks or so), my dps in Diamond have been going immensely negative. Usual stat lines are something like 4-17, or best case 2-6. Something like that.
Like me, the other support, and tank are almost doing just as well as the enemies, but our dps are struggling to do literally anything. They never win duels, they have quite poor movement/positioning (like I will see vendettas on my team fly into their backline and auto die, or watch a Cass just walk past our tank and die, frequently watch my hitscan miss each shot on a stationary target, etc.), and are just.... not good players. At least in those games.
I try to help them out more, maybe dive with them, take angles so they can get pressure off of them, ping places for them to be, etc. But I am almost always needed to just swap to full dps at some point, and I have to do the jobs of two dps and a support. Which then makes the dps upset due to "low heals", but they are never able to receive heals since they stand in the open or take so much unnecessary damage.
But my skill cap is mid-high Diamond, and I cannot carry when it comes to kills or dps anymore, especially once I get focused hard. So idk what to do. I mostly play wuyang, Weaver, and Jetpack Cat.
I am playing in NA East, mostly around 6-10pm. I am diamond 4 on support, and my queue times are always around 10-20 minutes. When I do get a match, it is usually extremely imbalanced (huge rank disparities on the teams usually).
Usually, I have one to two brand new/just returning players on my team (frequently asking what characters do mid-match, not moving correctly, not knowing maps at all, or cannot play their hero at a level past gold). The enemy team also gets new players a lot. I don't know if the player population in plat-diamond is just that tiny, or if the anti-smurf protections just instantly place new people into diamond+.
Is anyone else having this issue? Is my account like, flagged or something? I mean it's almost impossible to find matches in comp, I'm very frequently facing 20+ minute times. It wasn't like this two weeks ago.
My highest peak was diamond, but I play around silver to gold most of the time. So my mmr should be very low, since I have been a silver/gold player most of my career (diamond a long time ago).
But I am experiencing the opposite of that. Frequent smurfs, groups, and just insane stomps back to back. Stomps so bad, that my team usually gets around 2-4 kills, the enemy goes 20+ each easily.
Almost everyone I face has a masters rank in one role at least, or says they have been masters for a long time. I have never seen this amount of people giving up in matches (my team almost always gives up due to how bad we get stomped).
Is anyone else experiencing this? it's making wanting to get back into this game so difficult, since the matchmaker just seems so so random (and favored). It's not fair to my team, or the enemy team since it's never an actual close fight.
I am a silver dps, just went 1-9 in the worst game of my life. I just gave up halfway through and nothing I tried worked.
Every game is like this, and when I check the match range/the enemy team, they are diamond to master players. This lobby, three of the enemy team were paired together, and all were diamond players.

I am Polar, dps, playing sombra/bastion/shion. I gave up at the mid section, since everyone just said they'd report for throwing (after my second death), so I just stoppped caring.
Almost every game I play in comp (diamond 5-4), is just a ginormous team diff. As in, me and my team have zero chance of ever even touching objective/the enemy team.
Almost every game, my dps cannot crack 3-4 kills, my tank cannot live longer than a few seconds, and my other support is almost always a healbotting kiri or mercy.
I am by no means good, but I am very sick of how powerless I am in these lobbies. I also face an abnormal amount of smurfs (who brag openly, and are almost all genji's or widows who are unbeatable).
I also get an insane amount of new players on my team constantly. So new, they actually ask in chat or vc, what characters do or what basic mechanics mean (like anti).
What is up with the matchmaker? I only experience this in support queue. In tank or dps queue, my matches are fairly even usually. I play almost only support, and I meain wuyang, zen, and cat.
I know people frown on it, but I am starting to believe losers queue is real, bc these matches are impossible to win. The games always end with the enemy team being hyper capable, hyper vigilant, hyper mechanically gifted, hyper coordinated, and so on.
Also I ONLY face the best dooms, balls, genjis, anrans, etc any other oppressive dive character. Like, their accounts are either brand new, ot they have thousands of hours ONLY in comp.
I do not know what to do. I try my hardest, but my team almost always gives up about a quarter into the match and we always have a leaver.
Edit: This is over the course of two months, and I play about ten matches between two days regularly. I have a winrate of about 30%. I have NEVER struggled this hard in my life before on this game. I have also always been diamond since ow2 came out.
I have been auto banning genji the last twenty plus games as support. No matter what me or my team does to counter a genji, he just instantly kills everyone, gets pocketed by everyone on his team, and he makes it impossible to actually play as a support. Since I have to spend all match fighting him (he cannot die, since he can run away super easily + deflect + dash/wall climb/jump).
Everyone says "go moira", but that stops working in plat and diamond. Genji's are usually smurfs, or they are way too good for their rank and they always dominate. I despise how he morphs the match around him, and how it forces me to play "chase the genji" for the entire match, or he auto kills everyone with no chance of him being killed.
I just genuinely have no idea what to do. The enemy genjis are always absurdly good, and go 30-0.
When I see a good genji in the enemy team, I just give up. It's so unfun me and my teammates just give up and most of them leave half the time.
I'm a diamond support (usually diamond/high plat), but my real skill level is around silver to bronze. I came back to the game after about three months of not playing, and I have about a 20-25% winrate in comp and qp.
But for some reason, my games get harder, and harder, and harder. I frequently go against people who are masters and above, while me and my teammates are usually below plat (most of my teammates are unranked or new).
So every game is a really really bad stomp, and I have been on a 20+ loss streak for a few days now.
My mmr shows no signs of dropping however, I even had a game recently where my entire team left almost instantly, and then the next game same thing happened.
How do I fix my account mmr? I have made a new account, and I still placed in diamond, and then deranked to silver, but my main account (ive had since overwatch one) will not do that. Every time I get close to deranking past plat, they give me a very easy couple wins to keep me above it.
My matchmaking has been glitched for a little while. I have about a 30% winrate in the last two seasons I've played. But the game seems to be bugged, since my mmr isn't dropping, and my rank keeps placing me in diamond each season. And losing all the way down to like silver is not fun, and takes a lot of time.
The teams I am on are very mismatched, as in one team has clearly better players while me and my team are all way way below them in every factor (hours, rank, skill).
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I do not want to "get better" as I cannot compete against plats even, let alone diamonds and masters. I just like playing in my real skill (silver, maybe bronze).
I am a new player, and I have found out almost everyone in draft will never ever surrender, even if the score is 3 vs 45 (literal game I have played).
So when they refuse to ff (especially when we are down one or two players), I am forced to just afk or leave and get a warning/timer. Last game was 6 vs 33, and after I asked twenty times to ff, they just voted no and kept insta dying over and over. So I just started walking into towers to not get the afk warning, which then led me to get the intentionally losing warning.
But why am I getting warnings when the game is unwinnable? in any other game people surrender when they cannot win. Also it's odd that 3 votes for yes isn't a surrender, that is the majority of the team saying they do not wish to play anymore.
Just having zero fun being a plaything for the emeralds plus in my lobbies (always enemy team never mine) while im a silver with a 0.5 kd. I want to play cause the gameplay is good and I like strategy games, but it seems its more tdm mixed with some small tidbits of strategy thrown in. The only people who ever seem to have fun in this game are the 1-2 top fraggers in the lobby that go 15-1 while everyone else is negative.
I try to do the whole "have fun improving, set small goals", but that isn't even possible most of the time since rounds end so fast (me and my team die within seconds of the round starting due to how bad the matchmaking is).
in each game its basically impossible for me to peek, swing, anchor, or even play support since nothing is possible when I face champs and diamonds back to back.
