Hi guys, I’ve had my 2013 Super Glide for a year now, all stock performance wise until I put on some Vance and Hines straight shot slip ons a couple months ago. I didn’t seem to notice at first, but it seems to be really weak just off idle now. I can’t really launch or take off aggressively anymore. I can’t remember what it felt like stock unfortunately, as I put the mufflers on in the spring when I hadn’t ridden for a few months.

I’m sure the hot weather doesn’t help, but it’s bad enough at times to where I have to release the clutch extra slow as I can feel it bogging/struggling. Even when I slow down for a tight turn in second gear, it just bogs on me. There’s a lotttt of decel pop as well which I know is common without a tune. I know that a tune is recommended when changing exhaust/intake, etc. but will that really solve this issue? Is the power loss normally that noticeable without a tune with just slip ons? Is a good 2-1 exhaust necessary to get proper performance?

Just looking for some insight if anyone has had this issue to this degree. Any recommendations on tunes/devices? I’m looking at the dynojet power vision from Fuel Moto with their tunes.
