For all the hype about being gameplay first - this game almost forces you to play in a certain way that doesn't allow for the use of space, "just do what the devs want"..

  1. Scripting or in other words, player stat reliance - an extremely heavy reliance on attacking and defending IQ stats i.e. - your players making the right movement into space. It almost doesn't matter if you create 20 feet of space by dribbling past or make a multiple line-breaking pass taking 2/3 opposing players out, if your attacker chooses to make a run into the cb, you're probably going to concede from the counter - How is this rewarding? and to add there's limits to keeping the ball.....
  2. AI defending - as I've mentioned trying to pass is essentially pointless since your attackers run even down to the tap in, decides whether you're going to score, isn't this literally scripting?
  3. Game physics maybe? - this one is mind boggling, despite the latest tackle range nerf and pace buffs, pace is still almost irrelevant, shift a defenders balance off and they're still going to outpace you or tackle you from behind, make it make sense..
  4. the L1/L2 meta if we want to talk about that..

How are you guys defending against spinners?

I currently pivot between blocking passing lanes/closing down the ball carrier but it isn’t going too well sadly

I have been meditating often and observing how different situations can change who a person is and with ref. to the same - I'm struggling to find an adjective or personality descriptor to write on my resume, any help would be highly appreciated (I work in finance + have multiple interests)
