Irene was born in 1903. She graduated from high school in 1920 (I have her class ring). She died very young in childbirth with twin boys who also passed with her. She had a separate scrapbook for photographs (I have that too), but I’ve always loved this book. The 4th photo is a postcard dated 1911 from Irene’s aunt Mettie. This is one of my most prized possessions.

I found this is a thrift shop that refuses to sell anything without a price tag, and of course it didn’t have one. I brought it up to the front and then was first in line to get in the store the next morning. They still hadn’t priced it, but it was clear I wasn’t leaving without him, so they finally priced him and I happily took him home!
Someone donated all of great grandma’s hats and they ended up in the bins, where they have been destroyed 😢
I’ve never actually seen one of these in person. It was filthy, and I was afraid to toss it in the washer, but I did, and it looks beautiful!
I never played with dolls, but I loved these. They’re a bit dusty from age, but I still have most of the accessories!

I have collected rocks since I was a kid (I’m 52 now) so I have a massive collection. Most of which is unidentified. I’m not sure of location for this one. I live in Wisconsin, so I probably found it in the area, but I have travelled in the US so it may be from elsewhere. I know that’s completely unhelpful. Please help?
I’m curious about approximate age, type of metal, and if a maker can be discerned about this necklace. My grandmother gave it to me and said it had belonged to her mother. Her mother (my great-grandmother) babysat some neighbor children, and this was her payment. Great-grandma was born in 1899 in Wisconsin. I don’t have any other information.
