I've been working on my OCs stories and the medium by which I tell the story (at first it was a webcomic, then video game and now novel). The problem is I can't pick up a book and enjoy it without constantly comparing how my work would fair against it. I cross compare every line, how my characters are compared to the ones in the novel, how my prose is. You'd think this is helpful to help me improve, but this has stopped me from letting myslef enjoy anything. It's so frustrating and exhausting. Ive tried to push those comparisons down

Hello all. I recently finished the first book of "shatter me" series and half-way through the "destroy me" novella and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I am fascinated by the author's beautiful, enticing visual language and her story telling. I also love the romance so much, I didnt know romance could be so sweet without the need for spice. And I love the action, you never know what's gonna happen next.

Do you have any recommendations for equally good romance action novels? I dont mind if it's fantasy, YA, has spice or not

I remember watching a movie and the kidnapped man asked the kidnapped why he won't reveal his identity and the kidnapper said something that meant he didnt want him to face the consequences of knowing who he is (basically giving him a legal defense for not knowing)

I left a message on their social media asking them and they didnt answer....I called their landlines multiple times and they didnt answer. Today I called again and someone picked up the phone just to hang up!! Wow Rude.

Hello all. As the title said, my USB got used in someone's computer a while ago. I plugged it in my computer, scanned it first, saw that it had Trojan virus...selected "remove" in windows defender. Then after the action was done I scanned the USB in custom scan AND offline scan. Defender says there are no threats. But everytime i open the USB there's still that shortcut. Is my computer safe? And Is there something I can do other than format the USB, I kinda need the files on it

When using memes, clips and audios from internet culture in your video, how do you have them ready to use in a library ... instead of manually opening your file explorer and searching for the video? I use premiere pro

As the title says, I was very happy to open my Kindle only to get bamboozled. SO many books I want are unavailable...you'd think im talking about "smut" books but no, even the "shatter me" series is also unavailable!! I should note that the absolute filthiest smut books are available to buy in stores in my country!!!! I went to many stores and I found "icebreaker" "haunting adeline" front and center....it doesn't make sense

What can I do??

I plan on buying an e-reader becuase physical books take too much space in my house. But where do you guys get e books?

Also what e-reader would you recommend?
