I wasn't happy with the lighting, so I changed it

After posting my 1 year of development update, a few people pointed out that the lighting made the carriage look too flat and bright. I took another look at it and decided to change it.

Made the upper parts of the carriage darker, added more contrast, and reduced the overall brightness. I think it fits the atmosphere much better now.

If you like how the game looks now or you're into anomaly spotting games, you can add Anomaly Express to your Steam wishlist:

1 year of development. We completely changed our art style.

A year ago we started working on our small game inspired by The Exit 8. We had no idea how much it would change over the next 12 months.

The biggest difference is definitely the art style. We wanted something more colorful and unique instead of the usual dark horror look, and we're really happy with how it turned out.

The game is called Anomaly Express. If you're into anomaly spotting games or just like the art style, please consider wishlisting it on Steam. It really helps small indie games like ours.

666 wishlists isn't much, but it feels like an important milestone for a horror game

My first game just hit 666 Steam wishlists.

Not exactly a massive number, but I couldn't think of a more fitting milestone for a horror game.

I've mostly been heads-down developing the game so far, but now it's time to put more effort into marketing and see where it goes.
