Help Deciding on the F2

Basically what the title says. I’ve been going back and forth on ordering this or another company.

It’s something I want for my son and I to tinker with. We don’t plan to do a business just have fun and make things as a family.

We like the idea of coins as well as pencils and tumblers.

I’m trying to decide if the F2 would be a good starting point for those type of projects. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. I’ve spent weeks watching videos of this plus the other companies product but can’t decide.

I don’t want buyer’s remorse and then have something just taking up space and not getting used because it’s not what we wanted or we can do the projects we want.

I appreciate your input.

AP 7 settings

Help,

So something went wonky with my gold pro. Basically I had to do a factory reset. I migrated the settings and everything seems to be back, except the APs don’t show up in the app as configured. I see at least one in the app but no WiFi settings and it’s asking me to set them up.

How do I move them and the SSIDs over to the “new” set up device?

Advice needed: switching from PMPC.

My engineering group is putting the idea of switching from PMPC to another product.

I’m curious if anyone has any recommendations? Obviously they are also looking at options and will do a full PoC but am curious for other suggestions as well.

We want something that can patch 3rd party apps like Azul and other Java flavors. Can run scrips on demand and on a set schedule. Can host apps in the cloud or on prem for the clients.

I’m not looking to debate PMPC the group is just not happy with it and I’m fine with them switching if they can find something they like and can prove value.

The conference I was just at had action1 and PDQ which both seem like clones of each other.

One thing we have a ton of is user installed apps and want something that can manage them or uninstall them and install the system version.

TIA

MMS Video In Teams

Hello, I have a use case were a department is looking to get a video shot on an iphone/andorid sent to 1 number in teams. I know teams does not do MMS natively. Has anyone does this with a 3rd party tool? What would be the recommendation?

Port an existing line to a multi line number

Is there a way to take an existing line an move it to multi line number?

Example I’ll I’ve 1 primary line then add multi network to that line but I want to take the number have on the lite plan and move it over so I don’t lose the line.

Or so I have to port out to Tello first?

Dealer said to bring the vehicle in to get the VWU done, however they called tonight to ask for a bulletin to do the work. Anyone know what number I can give them? It’s for a 2026 that I bought last week and it’s still on 12 with a December 2024 update.

Long story short. Had a business line with USM. Just used it for calls and some minimal hotspot. Company said they would pay for it but had to port out to their service.

Looks like I might be leaving the company for another and I’ll get to keep that number. If I buy a line now for the promo and I do get this new job can I port the line into this line and still keep the promo? It should be more than 30 days since I did the port out of the number and back into USM.

We have been struggling with pre provisioning deployments. Seems like it’s hit or miss and usually a miss. We get to the app deployment step. Any advice on getting past this?? It happens in the office and at home on my personal network.
