I actually find it crazy how we see pretty privilege in action. Now in my opinion i think every girl in the villa is STUNNING so maybe its a different phenomenon but my point still stands
, we see angelista being criticized for the exact same things jasmine did (jasmine was upset/ angry when lorenzo and kavan talked to other people even tho they werent locked off and she had a much more extreme reaction and was praised for it) yet angelista has been portrayed as doing too much when shes upset that her couple is saying he wish he got coupled up with someone else and that next time he may kiss another girl.
Similarly the favourtism when it comes to mica and jasmine - i find it CRAZY.
Priya had been so nice and respectful when it came to speaking to kavan, lorenzo etc yet jasmine got very angry about it and talked bad about priya to a guy who priya was interested it yet jasmine portrays herself as a girls girl? If she truly was a girls girl she wouldnt have slagged priya who she is calling her friend, off to a guy and wouldve said it to priyas face instead of saying “its ok”. Similarly she kept making remarks about priya for example in the kissing challenge when priya kissed kavan (which she was suppose to be doing) , now ofcourse priya may be completely different and in the wrong off camera which may justify the islanders behaviours towards her, however online she is being shamed and jasmine is being praised when the clips do not show otherwise. If it was the other way around priya would still be shamed, she did nothing wrong in the yasmine situation either. Yasmine told priya she kissed lorenzo in a group setting but then priya did the same BECAUSE JASMINE ASKED its a massive problem??? It truly is double standards
Same with mica in the way that she begged it completely off simba asking for kisses etc but did not once let angelista know? She did have a very brief conversation with angelista AFTER finding out she was upset but that was basically nothing now ofc she couldve off camera but as viewers i know the same assumption wouldnt have been made about priya.
I am so confused as to why jasmine and mica are praised for their abnormal and rude behaviour but when priya or angelista do the same things but not as bad they are shamed for it? The only reasons i can think of is pretty privilege tho i do not believe that either of the girls are ‘prettier’ than the other

We can apply this to simba and ope too. when ope was moving mad he was getting attacked like crazy but now that simba is doing the same/ arguably worse he is not held accountable at all. Why is this?
