Hey everyone. I’m on vacation with my 5 year old daughter, my husband couldn’t come due to work. We’re just here for 6 days. My aunt is here for 6 weeks (it’s her condo). Long story short, she wanted to parasail. My daughter can’t due to age, so I obviously am not going either. She keeps wanting us to go on a dock and watch her parasail. I tried to politely say that we’ll just do our own thing that morning or stay at the beach. She seems hurt that we don’t want to watch. Should I go watch her and stand around with a 5 year old for an hour plus? AITAH?

Hey everyone. I found out through my aunt (mom’s sister) that my moms feelings were hurt because I didn’t give my mom a separate Mother’s Day card. I had my 5 year old daughter make her a very involved card. We did it together and it took probably an hour. Apparently my moms feelings were still hurt that I didn’t give her a separate card just from me.
AITAH?

Yesterday my mom watched my daughter for about 2.5 hours. I went to pick her up and my daughter admitted to me my mom told her at one point to shut up. Of course my mom blew it off and I guess wasn’t gonna tell me she messed up.

We have had REPEATED conversations with my mom and step dad that we do not force physical affection of any kind. My mom insisted on brushing her hair as we were leaving and my daughter said no I just want mom to. My mom apparently kept pulling on her arm as she was trying to leave to get to me. My daughter was very upset and of course my mom just said she was “holding her arm” and my daughter very clearly said “I told you stop touching me” and my mom said she can touch her arm because she’s the grandmother. I was honestly so shocked i didn’t know what to say, and my daughter does not fib, I believe my mom was pulling on her.

We were leaving and my step dad inisisted on a hug. He didn’t have a shirt on and my daughter said she didn’t want to because he was topless. My step dad essentially said “too bad”. He then threatened to take the toys my mom had gotten my daughter since she wasn’t hugging him.

My mom and step dad definitely lean narcissistic and I know will blow up if I see even more boundaries, but at this point I know I need to.

Any advice?

Hey everyone, trying to see if I am the ass hole, if I return the item. Target had a Pokémon collab that dropped Saturday. My friend wasn’t able to get the item she wanted, so she called me frantically to see if my store still had one, and could I get it. I told her there was one left and I was happy to get it, and said clearly on the phone “just Venmo me”. It’s been three days now and she won’t answer my texts about paying. Saturday I asked her if she wanted to pick it up and pay, she said she couldn’t. She asked if I would just drop it off. She lives like 30 min away and has a history of not paying for things she owes, so I said I couldn’t. She also has a bad habit of not responding to texts and calls- so I’m trying not to pull it out from under her but we don’t need a keyboard, and I don’t want to not be able to get my $50 back.
AITAH if I return the item since she’s not responding and hasn’t paid?

I struggle with social anxiety. I thought a Facebook group was private, as I’ve never joined a public one. I have been having weird dreams so I asked a dream interpretation group what they thought. My mom called me and asked why I was posting weird things on Facebook. She showed it to me, and I felt so red and embarrassed. I had no idea it wasn’t a private group. I now am panicking with everyone I know reading my inner most thoughts.

I gave birth and my husband wasn’t there. I said it was due to work and nurse seemed to know that wasn’t true. I was suddenly totally fine, acting like I hadn’t even given birth. I realize I don’t have my baby with me, and I need to check on her. She seems fine but then starts vomiting a liquid. I knew it was cerebrospinal fluid in my dream. It was according to doctors and she had a brain tumor. Unsure of what happened next
