I’m a Muslim girl who feels same sex attraction. I’ve been excluded by some sunnis and I don’t share the same views as the modernists. Have you also been excluded by Christians?
I posted here a few days ago and received some kind comments,thank you for that. But on another Muslim subreddit I get downvoted even for the most normal comments just because of my flag. I’m writing things that might be helpful but I still get downvoted. (I’ve read the rules, but I don’t think this is a big deal)
I’m Sunni and some people in the Sunni community are very aggressive toward queer people. They treated me so badly that I almost left the faith. Even when they treat me well, they say, “You’re straight,” and I feel invalidated, like they don’t want me to be who I am.
I believe same-sex marriage isn’t allowed and I won’t have a relationship with a girl. That’s why I don’t feel like I belong in modernist circles either. I don’t feel like I belong to any group. I just want a group that will show me understanding and where I can talk about my struggles. But it seems like that’s a really hard thing to find.
I’m a girl who’s attracted to other girls. I wondered if my lack of trust in men had affected my sexual orientation, but I don’t think it did.
I won’t be in a relationship with a girl, and I’ll stay single. I don’t have a problem with that. I’m just bad at not thinking about sexual things related to girls. I want to get these thoughts under control,do you have any advice for me?

Akrabalarım dindar insanlar ve bir akrabam evleniyor. Annemle babamdan sohbet sırasında bu akrabamın kredi çekerek ev sahibi olacağını öğrendim (1.5 milyon alıp 3 milyon geri vereceklermis) Babama bu faiz değil mi ,dedim. O da bu devirde faizsiz bir şey olmuyor dedi. Faizin bu kadar normalleşmiş olmasının nedeni ne? Neden dindar insanlar bile faizle ev almayı sorun olarak görmüyor?

In my culture(Turkey) , terms for sexual harassment are used as swear words and no one sees this as a problem. Some people are quite foul mouthed and use these words even in normal situations. And it’s not just men who use them girls do too.
I hate that girls see this as normal. When I object to it people assume I have trauma. But I’m speaking out because I believe this is wrong. I also hate the idea that you have to be a victim to speak out against something.
I want to support the 4B movement, but I’m afraid it might conflict with my Muslim identity. I thought this was the right place to ask this question: Why should or shouldn’t a muslim girl support 4B?

Bahsettiğim şey açıkça müstehcen yetişkin içerikleri değil, hafifletilmis ve günlük medyada görülmesi zor olmayan türden içeriklerden(kadınların dar ve mini giyinmesi, erkeklerin diz kapağına kadar örtünmemesi ve kaslı bir şekilde gösteriş yapmaları gibi şeyler) nasıl sakınırım , televizyonu ve sosyal medyayı bu yüzden bırakmam gerekiyorsa bırakabilirim ancak medyayı tam anlamıyla bırakmak istemiyorum , bu tarz şeylerin olmadığı dizileri/filmleri bilen varsa öneride bulunabilir mi? Gerekirse sadece animasyon ve belgesel de izleyebilirim ama güzel dizi/film önerilerine ya da başka türde tavsiyelere de açığım.
