Pencil spent around 10-20K years in the “past”

Assuming she went through 4000 different attempts and if we assume an average of 5 years (She made it to IDFB and beyond on MANY shown attempts) on each attempt, if you do the math that’s 20000 years she spent trying to fix things and find the perfect timeline

Hot take: Fanny is the best contender to win TPOT

This wasn’t exactly a hot take like a year or two ago when her popularity was at her peak, but now there’s characters who’ve become as popular as her and seen as the community as great contenders to win TPOT (IE Donut and Pen). The hype for a Fanny win definitely cooled down a lot.

The reason I want Fanny to win is because she perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the season. She started off as a forgettable BFB contestant but she gained a lot of fans overtime. She had a compelling arc in the early season, which is something that most TPOT characters still competing can’t say for themselves.

First ever episode you voted on? Who did you vote for?

Now, I’ve been watching BFDI since I was like 4 (Back in 2012-2013) but I didn’t make a YT account until I was like 12 (Back in 2020) so I couldn’t vote until BFB.

Anyways, my first ever vote was for Leafy in BFB 17.

What franchises prove that less is more?

Basically what I mean is that the franchise hasn’t received any new content in quite some time and the franchise doesn’t have that much content in the first place, but the quality/impact is there.

Gravity Falls has only two seasons but it’s still one of the best cartoons out there, it was able to build a very interesting story and wrap it up with a bang within the short amount of time it had. It also had a massive cultural impact and it still maintains a loyal fandom to this day.

In Earthbound/MOTHER’s case, the fandom isn’t very big/it’s very quiet and there are only three games. One for the NES/EB Beginnings, one for the SNES/Earthbound (Which is also the most popular of the three), and one for the GBA/Mother 3 (Only released in Japan). Mind you, Mother 3 was released over 20 years ago.

Now, Earthbound didn’t sell all that well in the US due to poor advertising and the other two games are not all that heard of. The games also get a bit of a rep for having not the most exciting gameplay which I guess is fair, especially if we’re talking about EB Beginnings. But they excel in categories like lore, music, and overall world building. They’re overall very interesting games that are enjoyable to play if you’re ok with grinding a bit.

It’s also worth mentioning that a LOT of games were inspired by Earthbound. The reason Undertale exists is because of an Earthbound ROM hack Toby Fox made back in the day.

Clarification about math major classes

On the webinar slides it is stated that multivariable Calc (math 2010) is not a requirement but instead linear algebra (math 2100) and diff equations (math 2400) are. For the record I already got the credits for Calc 1 and 2 via ap scores so I can go straight ahead to the intermediate-level courses.

I’m just curious considering I looked at the previous year’s catalog for math and it stated that math 2010 was required instead of math 2100. So this means the curriculum changed so math majors take intro to linear algebra instead of multi? Should I still take it down the line regardless?

Create a 9-track long Radiohead album that includes one song from every Radiohead album

RULES

  1. Each song must be in track order (I.E. Paranoid Android can be #2, 15 Step can be #1)

  2. Can’t use two songs from one album. Self explanatory.

  3. Must use ONE song from ALL 9 albums (Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows, The King of Limbs, A Moon Shaped Pool). No B-sides.

  4. Anything past the 9th song in an album can count as the 9th song in your created album (IE Tracks 9-14 in Hail to the Thief can count as track #9 in your list, same can be applied to tracks 9-12 of The Bends for instance)

Question about transferring AP credits for APUSH and APGOV and the STSO pathway

I got a 4 on both tests and the website lists that it can transfer into “STSO 1000” or an equivalent STSO class, but what classes can that transfer into? Would I have to take STSO 1100 in order to be in the pathway?

Listening to Smiles and Tears after graduating from high school today

First thing I did after I got home. Big shoutout to Itoi and the composers for such an amazing game.

Each individual Sound Stone melody was for semesters. It’s been a ride.
