Animes that are like Perfect Blue?

I just finished the film and absolutely adored it!! It might be my favorite or at least top 3. I've already watched Serial Experiment Lain and Paprika and loved those two, but not as much as I loved this film. Can someone recommend me an anime that is like Perfect Blue? I don't care how niche or popular it is.

I never really understand the sentence "you can see the emotion in their eyes"

Hey, begginer actor here. I've been in a few smaller projects and recently auditioned for a huge one. I was watching some videos for tips before I was about to film my self tape and almost all, if not every video, mentioned how you see emotions in the characters eyes and how eyes are the biggest part of your audition.

Nobody ever really explains well what this even means. The best I was able to understand this sentence is like this: By where you look, and how wide or closed your eyes are. I would like for someone to tell me if I understood it right or not. I've been trying to watch some Oscar winning actors to see how they act with their eyes, and what I listed above is the only thing that I'm really noticing besides the movements and facial expressions. I would really appreciate it if someone could explain this sentence better and what it truly means. Thank you!

Would you say it's a good idea to edit in your voice over for an audition when you don't have a reader?

I have an audition to submit in 2 days and I can't find a reader. First and foremost, do not recommend any social media groups for readers nor We Audition. I'm not saying either of those are bad, I think they're very good actually. It's just the fact that I am a teen and I don't wanna take that risk to talk with a grown stranger over call who I don't know anything about. My friends do not know English, some of them can speak it, but their accent is barely understandable. My two friends who were my only choices aren't available. I'm considering either using something like 11labs and putting in a voice over of the opposite role, or record the voice over myself.

Do you recommend memorizing your lines for an audition?

Hi! Begginer actor here. I only did a few small projects and only auditioned for a fewer roles. Not too long ago, I've submitted my material to a massive casting call and to my surprise, they want me to audition. I signed an NDA and received my sides before I went on social media and researched a bit about the casting director and some tips for the auditions. Now, I've stumbled upon multiple videos, but each saying different things. One group of videos said how It's totally alright and not a big deal if I have to look down at my sides, and the other ones said how I should fully memorize my sides, even if the casting doesn't require it. I have around 4 days deadline to submit, which I have time for, but I'm still considering on what's a better option. If anyone could, I would love to hear some recommendations and tips.

Trading my adopt me inventory for mm2!!

I've quit adopt me a few months back and I'm slowly coming back to mm2. Could anyone offer something for these? They're not anything special but I feel like I could get some decent stuff from mm2 for them.

Cerberus (Fly), Fire Stallion horse 3×, Kitsune, Diamond Mahi Mahi, Quetzalcoatl 2×, 2× Black footed ferret, Choco Penguin, Neon dire wolf, Cold cube, Toucan (neon), Pomeranian, Onza, Grinmoire, Hold mahi mahi, Shettland pony white, Swordfish.

I can add some small adds if needed (rares and bellow) but I think this is it! You can offer for multiple pets ofc or even all this.

The 'Romance is Boring" is NOT an aroace coded song but rather an aromantic one and it's becoming annoying how many people mistake it to be

I'm saying this as a gay/aromantic person myself. I hear this song in every aroace themed video or an edit. I've even seen people come out as aroace with that song.

The song itself is about failing relationship and growing up. A man is in a toxic relationship with his partner and they distract each other away from their relationship status by having sex. Being aromantic means you have sexual attraction towards people but not romantic one. Which is basically the meaning of the song.

Is BMPCC 4K a good choice for the first ever camera as a filmmaker?

I am debating wether I should get BMPCC 4K or Sony ZV-E10 with 16-50 lens as my first ever camera. I have never before owned a camera in my life but I have used one a fewer times. BMPCC 4K is obviously more cinematic but I get people telling me not to get it because it's too complicated for a beginner. I wanna know is this true and which option is better? I am making a horror, thriller, mystery type of movie.

It annoys me how many people still don't know the difference between being introverted and extroverted

For some forsaken reason, people will always just assume that introverts are those people who are antisocial, always alone, shy and akward. While extroverts are loud, obnoxious, confident and everything above.

For some context, I'm ENTJ. Meaning I'm extroverted. About a day ago I was out with my friends, and one of them brought up a conversation about our MBTI's. Once it was mine turn, I told them that I'm an ENTJ and they all looked at me like I told them that I'm Jesus Christ. They then told me how I'm not social at all so I can't be extroverted and then proceeded to say that I'm just an INTJ. At first, I thought they were joking, because who wouldn't? You bring up a conversation about personality types just to not know a difference between an introvert and an extrovert.

For those who don't know, being introverted means you gain energy by being alone. And being extroverted means you gain energy by being surrounded by people and conversations. In my case, I'm quite antisocial but rather talkative, and I always recharge my energy around people. That means I'm extroverted. Someone could be really social and talkative, but if they gain their energy by being alone, they're introverted.

Best INTJ example in media?

What is your best example of an INTJ in media, no matter if it's a TV show, movie, anime, cartoon etc. I'm very curious on what your take might be specifically because this specific personality type was so misunderstood. It feels annoying when someone sees a smart or emotionless character and immediately jump to conclusions that they're INTJ.
