It is so embarrassing for me to call myself a native of Mangaluru/Tulunadu without knowing Tulu.

People talk to me in Tulu and I respond back in Kannada. Not because I don't know it. I do know Tulu but I believe it's a sacred language and I also don't want to make a fool of myself by speaking batlar Tulu. I do understand Tulu. I watched the 90ml movie and understood the whole story but I can't speak fluently. It's broken and I don't get the words quickly on the tip of my tongue..

I need someone with whom I can talk, like be on call!! It's pure friendship and nothing more than that. Please refrain from texting me if you are looking for anything beyond friendship.

We could also meet, go to the beach, have seafood or have ice cream at Pabbas, but strictly talk in Tulu and not laugh at me. 😭

My cousin has always been fascinated by wearing my clothes since he was very young.. He would wear my communion dress and veils. He loves long hair and often walks in a feminine way. He is 16 years old now.

He has also touched children in an inappropriate way, which is very concerning. He has encouraged men to touch him inappropriately as well. In some situations, things went badly, and he later blamed the men and tried to avoid responsibility.

I have seen him put a cloth on his head and tie it with rubber bands. His sister often teases him by calling him gay, but I don't think there is anything to tease about.

I have tried talking to him and told him that he can share anything with me. I told him that I am open-minded and that no matter what it is, he can talk to me about it. I have also indirectly mentioned that I have gay, lesbian, and bisexual friends, just to let him know that I would be accepting and understanding. However, he still doesn't open up.

One day, I also caught him trying to peek into my brother's room while he was getting dressed.

And now he has started pretending to like girls and I know he doesn't like girls. Should I let him be by himself or push him to open?

24F. I've self-diagnosed ADHD for years but never got checked professionally. I struggle with procrastination, forgetfulness, zoning out, poor focus and I barely remember much of my childhood.

Today was a wake-up call. I put eggs on the stove, completely forgot about them for almost an hour, and only realized when my house smelled like something burned. The water had fully evaporated and the eggs were burnt.

Can anyone recommend a good psychiatrist in Bangalore that genuinely understands and diagnoses adult ADHD? I'd especially appreciate recommendations from people who were diagnosed as adults. Thanks!

I had put some eggs on the stove to boil.

Then completely forgot..

About an hour later, I started smelling something burning and asked my mom, "Did you leave something on the stove?"

Turns out the person who left something on the stove was me..

The water had completely evaporated, the eggs were burnt, the vessel was smoking.. The worst part? I genuinely had zero memory of putting the eggs on in the first place.

Is it my ADHD or bad memory? 😭
