I need to get this of my mind by informing others to be alert and pls tell this to the women you love around you
I am 19F and the day before ganpati when me and my mom where doing some last min errands for decoration at Mandai market when I saw a weird man creeping and hovering above women selling things and these women were sitting on the road just doing their job. In the chaos of the crowd I just thought it must be in my head so I left my mom and started following that man and what I saw on his phone sent a chill down my spine for a moment. His phones recording was on and his phone was close to his chest so nobody could see it and he bent down on a woman selling garlands and pointed that camera straight at her chest and was standing there pointing the camera at her until she noticed him. As soon as she noticed him he started walking and was bumping into women especially his phone pressing into them. Seeing all this made me so much nauseous and disturbed I went blank for a moment and lost sight of him. I went back to the shop my mom was in and thankfully because of Ganpati there were two cops outside that shop. I told this whole incident and gave them his description but the worst part was only one cop who was older asked me more about it and immediately said i’ll look into it while the younger cop just told me “These kind of people are there only now what can we do. He didn’t do anything to you so go ahead don’t bother by complaining it’s not in our hands”. I felt like crying right there because as someone who has been stalked to her own home by a bunch of creeps I really felt bad the future of women’s safety will be in people’s hands who don’t even get bothered by an incident so bad.
