hello, I'm trying to work on a personal project, I want to know the function that handles player movement, i saw this function called P_MovePlayer, but it's long and not just for movement
I work with Source SDK 2013 Multiplayer. I really want to know, if you know plz tell me.
so on programming: principles and practice using C++ chapter 4 drill:
1**. Write a program that consists of a while-loop that (each time around the loop) reads in two ints and then prints them.**
Exit the program when a terminating '|' is entered.
2. Change the program to write out the smaller value is: followed by the smaller of the numbers and the larger value
is: followed by the larger value.
3. Augment the program so that it writes the line the numbers are equal (only) if they are equal.
4. Change the program so that it uses doubles instead of ints.
5. Change the program so that it writes out the numbers are almost equal after writing out which is the larger and the
smaller if the two numbers differ by less than 1.0/100.
6. Now change the body of the loop so that it reads just one double each time around. Define two variables to keep track
of which is the smallest and which is the largest value you have seen so far. Each time through the loop write out the
value entered. If it’s the smallest so far, write the smallest so far after the number. If it is the largest so far, write the
largest so far after the number.
7. Add a unit to each double entered; that is, enter values such as 10cm, 2.5in, 5ft, or 3.33m. Accept the four units: cm,
m, in, ft. Assume conversion factors 1m == 100cm, 1in == 2.54cm, 1ft == 12in. Read the unit indicator into a string.
You may consider 12 m (with a space between the number and the unit) equivalent to 12m (without a space).
8. Reject values without units or with “illegal” representations of units, such as y, yard, meter, km, and gallons.
9. Keep track of the sum of values entered (as well as the smallest and the largest) and the number of values entered. When
the loop ends, print the smallest, the largest, the number of values, and the sum of values. Note that to keep the sum, you
have to decide on a unit to use for that sum; use meters.
10. Keep all the values entered (converted into meters) in a vector. At the end, write out those values.
11. Before writing out the values from the vector, sort them (that’ll make them come out in increasing order).
i found question 7 confusing, how will i handle all that stuff??? conditions or what? this is my current code:
#include "std_lib_facilities.h"
int main()
{
`double num1{};`
`char unit = 0;`
`double largestSoFar = 0;`
`double smallestSoFar = 0;`
`double meter = 100.0;`
`double inch = 2.54;`
`double foot = 12.0;`
`while (cin >> num1 >> unit)`
`{`
`if (num1 > largestSoFar)`
`{`
`cout << num1 << " is the largest number so far \n";`
`largestSoFar = num1;`
`}`
`else if (num1 < smallestSoFar)`
`{`
`cout << num1 << " is the smallest number so far \n";`
`smallestSoFar = num1;`
`}`
`}`
}
This is a relaxed Discord server made for sharing and discovering Minecraft Legacy Console Edition (LCE) online servers. Whether you host an SMP, survival world, creative server, PvP world, roleplay server, or any other type of LCE experience, you’re welcome to share it here and find players to join.
This community is focused on bringing back the classic Minecraft LCE online experience — meeting new players, joining worlds, building together, competing, exploring, and creating memories like the old days of console Minecraft.
You can:
We keep moderation very relaxed. This server is not built around strict rules or heavy moderation — we want people to be able to have fun, joke around, and enjoy themselves without worrying about being punished over every little thing.
Jokes, memes, sarcasm, teasing, roasting, trolling, and general chaos are allowed. This community has more of an old-school Minecraft online feel, where people mess around, talk trash, and have fun. Not every joke, comment, or bit of trolling is meant to be taken seriously.
This server may contain annoying, chaotic, or unfiltered(NOT NSFW) moments. Expect random conversations, people messing around, sarcasm, banter, and jokes that may not appeal to everyone.
If you prefer a very serious, heavily moderated environment where every interaction is carefully controlled, this may not be the community for you. This server is meant for people who enjoy a more relaxed, casual, and sometimes chaotic Minecraft LCE experience.
However, there is still a clear difference between joking around and genuinely causing harm. We do not tolerate serious harassment, threats, targeted abuse, malicious behavior, scams, or anything intended to ruin someone else’s experience. "It was just a joke" is not an excuse for genuinely harmful actions.
Other than that, enjoy the freedom! Share your servers, find new worlds, meet other LCE players, and help keep the Minecraft Legacy Console Edition online community alive.
**NOTE** it is fine to share your bedrock and java servers
Start a world, invite some players, and have fun!
Happy crafting!
im making a 2d sonic-like game, i made the player movement so far, but i only need collision?
Hey so, ive been using a intel gpu with ultra low intel core i5 laptops for like forever since like 2018 or 19, it was always a spike in the ass, until just now, I finally got a rtx 200 i5 13420h laptop, i couldnt afford a rtx 2060 or more powerful because I was in like a low budget, but i really like this machine, I do not really know why people would hate it and call it "underpowered" or bad value because its 4gb vram or 64 bit memory bus, I honestly like it for its price, this gpu and 50 series card is so fucking good if you know how to manage your expectations, the card isnt designed for max settings, im not a fan of heavy aaa games like whatever elders rings or wukong is, all I play is cs2 and multiplayer shooter stuff like high settings and 150+ fps, and tried ray tracing on minecraft and worked good!, im talking about real rt not just shaders, also I dont just game in this, I code in c plus plus, and the compilation times are faster! and the laptop is msi thin 15, i know it overheats but I barely notice it, not an issue for me. I kinda recommend this if you are on a strict budget, and you dont play heavy stuff at max settings
ive got this question popped up on my head so much, if there is Source SDK 2013 out there, why cant we make a better SFM?, since its based off a outdated tf2 from 2007 or 2010 and doesnt support modern gpus like intel ones
did this in my free time, might be low quality since this was made using a integrated Intel GPU, but anyways here's Team Fortress 2 mercenaries vs Dragon Ball Z Fighters :)
Alright so Im a teen (13.7M), and I've been pretty insecure about my hair, my hair often gets oiler by just 3rd day or 2nd, idk if this is puberty or some stuff, like just 2 or 1 month ago it was thick and full(but sometimes thin but not like now) like on photo2, but photo2 is me now, I cut my hair and it got worse, it looks thinner, and even cowlick got bigger(its not smooth or patchy but yeah), idk if my barber ruined my hair, also now it gets oily quick idk why any help?
for me im 13 5'6, with a 5'7 father and 5'3 mother. for me I didnt hit my main peak spurt yet, nothing from me really matured alongside my body hair(im very hairy because of arab genetics), I still have immature voice,and kid face. so idrk how im close to my fathers height now, i really keep thinking about my height, i mean even 5'9 is enough for me.
