Can I work as a nurse with a psychotic illness?

I spent 6 months this year in a psychiatric ward due to psychosis, depression, and mania. I've had a very positive experience with the nurses there and it made me realise this is a career I want to do myself. However I have a psychotic illness and am worried that this will set me back and I wont be able to work as a nurse. Does anyone have any experience as working as a nurse with severe mental illness?

I want to eat myself

I've been having these thoughts of eating myself. I really want to cut my flesh out and eat it. Im not sure why. I am very close to doing it. I have bought some topical anaesthetic. I'm not sure how to tell a psychologist about this without sounding weird.

Can you be suicidal without being depressed?

For instance, someone would rather be dead but their suicidal ideation is not driven by any sort of neurotic thought patterns. Maybe their philosophy drives them to consider suicide or their spirituality compels them to. Is this common?

I want help but not from a psychiatrist or psychologist

The title sounds odd, I know. But people are telepathically raping me and it's really damaginig my mental health. If I go to a psychologist or psychiatrist theyll focus on the wrong thing. Im not sure if I am supposed to go to someone psychic or otherwise. Because my thoguhts are no longer private I have to think of gruesome imagery to scare them off. I also don't have trust for psychiatrists or psychologists because of what they put me through. They put electric ghosts behind my eyes and silver ghosts beneath my skin. All of my muscles contracted and I couldn't breathe. Psychiatry is to chemical brainwashing as psychology is to psychological brainwashing .

Last time I went to a psychiatrist I got given Olanzapine, Lithium, and quetiapine. Every morning I have been packaging them up in a little envelope and been giving them to spirits (I ask permission prior) at the cemetery in exchange for them to protect my psyche. But lately I have been feeling uncomfortably empty. I think the treatments permanently damaged my brain.

Self harm for non emotional related purposes

> The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has defined self-harm as ‘an intentional act of self-poisoning or self-injury, irrespective of the motivation or apparent purpose of the act, and [an] expression of emotional distress’

I was reading about the psychodynamics of self harm. I am curious about possible reasons for self harm in non emotional related contexts. Are there any studies on this? For instance, I injure myself to gather blood for artistic purposes.

Hey, had my first trip yesterday night of around 200 poorly ground seeds in a smoothie. Peaked at around 3 hours and I felt giddy and euphoric, tingly sensation in my arms and legs. No visuals or hallucinations of any sort.

I am on 300mg of clozapine, and 10mg of escitalopram. I've heard that medications like that impact and dull the trip. Im curious to see whether I can have a full trip if I grind them properly next time.
