Best banks to open account for a charity

Hi all, looking for recommendations for good banks to open a new business account with as a small-medium sized charity. Low 6 digit balance. Needs to have the option of a normal current and a high interest savings account, ideally with automated transfers between them. Enable online banking for several people, ideally be easy and straightforward and where I could set different limits and rules for specific people or departments, also possibly with debit cards.

Ideally looking for ethical banks due to the sector of the charity.

The charity is currently with RBS and desperate to move away.

I was considering Charis last year, but they've had nothing but issues. Also considered the cooperative bank. But at the time their waiting times were fairly long.

An easy and quick sign up process would be ideal. Based in Scotland, but happy to consider any banks. They need to offer the usual protections and also have a requirement of two signatories minimum, as that's required by funders.

Also if anyone is considering RBS, just don't. We have the fourth active complaint open with them this year alone. Without going into details, they were all upheld due to a number of reasons.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Eine Fahrt zum Wertstoffhof, Empfehlung gesucht

Hallo zusammen,

Man, we really needed those aliens to show up today!

Not sure even they could have saved us though!

Buy a house, get a restaurant!

This one always cracks me up when I see it. It's marketed as a 5 bed family home. Oh by the way, the main room is currently set up as a restaurant for up to 60 people. I seriously think if they marketed it as restaurant opportunity with accommodation it would have already sold. It's been on the market for over a year. Maybe not many people searching for a family home fancy to have a 60 cover restaurant as well!!

Reflections as a new scot

Sadness after what happened last night. Anger that a loud angry minority took over the streets. Frustration and feeling helpless and vulnerable. None of the tags and flairs fit. It's not banter. It's more serious. It's definitely mental.health, but it's also politics. And it's deeper, more about Identity and belonging here. It's that sense of the open welcoming Scotland that I want back. Civic nationalism where we are Scottish because we live here. We're part of the community. This is our Scotland, too. But what happened last night is trying to sow division and to a certain extend managed to do so already. I am privileged because I have white skin. So unless I speak, I might pass. I know my fellow Scots who are not white are even more scared and feel like they might be targeted. Solidarity! We need to fight this together. All of us. After reform won so many councils in England and with the possibility of a reform PM on the horizon, I have been considering trying to get UK citizenship. Two decades here and having settled status should be enough, but it's a digital only status with no proof and they could just hit the delete button. But it'll be a good £3k and will it really protect me any more? Will I ever truly be good enough to live here? And yes, I ramble. It's been a rough night. Please check in with your fellow new Scots and please don't just let this happen again.
