Where are we finding Maternity Clothes or even just plus size Pregnancy fashion inspiration? How do I look cute?

Maternity clothes just don’t exist in stores anymore. And the trend right now seems to be people buying maternity clothes that aren’t actually maternity clothes and all the influencers and people I see showing off outfits and everything are all people who pre-pregnancy are very skinny and in normal bodies. Which is difficult on its own as someone who doesn’t have that body to imagine what will look good on me but throw into that that the clothes they’re showing off aren’t even maternity, and I feel like it’s a huge gamble to buy things that I have no idea if they’re gonna fit me as I grow. If anyone has any fashion suggestions, or influencers, or places to shop please let me know. I don’t want to spend too much money but I want to look cute and feel cute!!!

(I’m also gonna add that I’m in the first trimester right now, 5’7 and started off at 197 pounds so they classify me as obese but I don’t want to insult anyone accidentally by saying that because I know there are many people here in much larger bodies and what people consider fat or plus size is different)

Advice on what I should get as a growing family with lots of pets?

Hi there! I’m expecting my first child with my partner and we’re looking at important buy it for life items. We’re in the process of buying a house and so we don’t know yet what our house will look like, but it’ll probably be a mix of hardwood and carpets. My floors right now are COVERED in fur with 4 cats (and we eventually want to add dogs into the mix) plus the cat litter that gets tracked everywhere. The idea of my baby getting litter and fur all over them just by crawling…I’d like to mitigate that as much as possible. We also have really bad allergies, and one of the cats has asthma so the best filters are important. Should we also look into a robot vacuum as well for day to day maintenance? If so, any recommendations there? Money isn’t the concern. I’ve heard Sebo is better than Miele. If so, which model? Thank you for help and suggestions!

Almost half way through the year…What’s your favorite new books you’ve read this year?

I feel like I either haven’t found much new that interests me or it’s been a slow year or something. What are your favorite new books you’ve read this year? Anything special that has come out? I feel like I’m behind and need to be caught up!! The spicier the better.

(I also personally have soft spots for age gaps, breeding, FMC is a nanny, cowboys, and good book boyfriends like Brendan in It Happened One Summer but I’m really just looking for everyone’s favorite books of the year so far!!)

I have severe migraines and have for years. The only thing that keeps them okay is Qulipta (which I’ve had to get off of because I’m pregnant) and Botox. Now, I’ve seen many people say that their neurologists were okay with the Botox. However, my doctor wants me off everything. Even my sumatriptans. She literally told me “Now that you’re pregnant you stop mattering and all that matters is the baby” so I’m left with nothing. She even said when I’m breastfeeding she won’t allow me to use anything either. I feel like taking Tylenol every day constantly just trying to feel better and having to try and sleep all day unable to even stand up or be in a room with the lights on and crying constantly because of the pain can’t be good for me or baby. I feel miserable and I’m just getting started on this Pregnancy journey and I don’t feel supported at all and I don’t know how I can take this for the months left to go.

I know that many neurologists DO offer Botox during pregnancy and my neuro is just being stingy and stubborn. Does anyone know any neurologists in the Phoenix metro area that offer Botox during pregnancy? Does anyone have any leads? Because I can’t handle this, I don’t even know where to look, and I’m totally overwhelmed. I’m also on AHCCCS, if that helps.

I moved here a few years ago and while I LOVE my PCP, I HAAAAAATE his front office staff and the way things are ran. You can’t call and speak to anyone in the front office, no, you get someone in India whose only job is to be the unnecessary messenger between the front office staff and you. They can’t get a hold of anyone in the front office themselves and so any requests, no matter how urgent, they’ll only be able to get back to you at bare minimum 48 hours. This doesn’t work for me! I might have to cancel very important injections I get at a different doctor’s office in a few days because the other doctor can’t get a hold of them for an updated referral. Upon further research, it seems like most PCPs here are under some sort of group or hospital affiliation and not just a standard PCP and so they all have one central answering service. In California, where I’m from, I’ve never encountered this.

Does anyone have a PCP they love where I can talk to the front office staff directly? Preferably independent? I have AHCCCS (Mercy Care) so hopefully they take that. My PCP also handled my mental health meds (like Xanax) and I need someone who would be comfortable with continuing to do all that.
