I'm a graduate student with bachelor in forestry background and i am specially aiming for research assistantship in the relating field for further studies. Being a research assistant needs to have experience with research projects and i want to boost my experience in the related field of study. I have my thesis in biomass estimation using remote sensing (vegetation indices and layers analyzed from sentinel 2 MSI , correlated with biomass estimated through field calculated data, build regression model with highest correlated values for model validation). I am familiar with tools and features for arcmap, qgis and other GIS basics, SPSS and writing. Despite my respective field, i am glad to work in any kind of interest or sector & I am ready to learn new things if i need to.

Greetings, i am a learner and i need to gather information from some specific forest plots but i couldn't make it to the site. The satellite image i tried seems to be less in resolution or cannot provide details. Google earth image isn't updated to date and provides old canopy structure which isn't helpful. Lidar drones sensing isnt option either. So, if there are any options for more detailed satellite imagery or any GIS based methods through which i could analyze the crown coverage, tree density, disturbance and forest types/ species composition specifically (if possible), it would help me a lot !

Greetings! I am writing thesis by taking reference/help with ai tools but not complete dependently. I write my own words and ideas but includes AI tools sometimes and i want my thesis perfect for publication. I tried open sources detectors but i couldn't trust them because some showed high AI influence but somehow showed completely normal. So if anyone can help detecting AI text or not, will help me a lot for motivation!

OneDrive is causing a lot of problem for me. Specially, my daily task include using GIS and the default path for output goes inside onedrive and i dont have that folder coz i deleted it already although i change and disable it 1000 times. i deleted the entire onedrive folder inside disk C> User> oneDrive It deleted everything i stored in my pc. no matter how much i try to get rid of that thing, it somehow find a way to block something and caused trouble.. Mann fack onedrive

I (23M) have 50 degree spinal curve since birth and i am planning to move abroad for further study (US or Australia). students also require to give medical test and should be considered healthy (as per i know) and i have been thinking about worst case scenarios that i might not be eligible medically to pursue my carrier according to my planning. If anyone have knowledge and experience regarding the medical criteria for this...advice will be appreciated. Thanks!!
