Yesterday, Naomi Long posted (and subsequently deleted) a tweet in which she stated she "appealed to the Orange Order because as Christians, I hold out more hope of them acting for the greater good than those engaging in unlawful protest." As Minister for Justice, her brief requires strict impartiality, and as Alliance leader, many of her party's Stormont seats were dependent on nationalist transfers, so could her declaration, however quickly rescinded, lose long-term support to the SDLP and Greens should an election be held as scheduled next year?

It's fair to say that my hometown club of Churchill has never been the most glamorous of sides in Kerry - over a century, we've won two novice titles (when that was the fourth-tier in the county), and have only produced a handful of senior county players, of whom Pat McCarthy would be the most famous, at the very beginning of the Golden Years era. Today, however, we will play our first-ever premier junior final against Keel, and while the Mid Kerry side will start as warm favourites, being backboned by the Evans family, neither were we expected to overcome Listry, who were many pundits pre-season tips to win the competition. Still, whatever the result this evening, the future looks bright for the club, having won promotion to Division 2 this year, and a continual growth in playing numbers due to the area forming part of the Tralee commuter belt.

Just back from a wonderful few days in your city - sadly the festival was just over when we arrived, but everyone was still in a party spirit on Monday-Tuesday! The Guggenheim and San Mames were both excellent, but the highlight was the two tours we did, as the guides went over and beyond the call of duty in terms of their friendliness - Gonzalo took us mainly around Plaza Nueva and Casco Viejo on the pintxo tour, and later gave his own personal recommendations on where to eat, places to see, etc. My personal favourite, though, was the trip to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Bermeo, Mundaka and Gernika, as the two brothers chatted away to us in a relaxed, informal way, but still showed their strong enthusiasm for Basque culture, history and politics, and even gave us a few language lessons along the way - so "aupa" to everyone in Bilbao from this Irishman!

Hi, will be visiting Bilbao during the first week of September, and the Bellas Artes/Fine Arts Museum certainly looks very impressive, but I understand that the interior of the building has been undergoing significant renovations over the last 12 months or so - what stage are they at now, and how much of the collection is actually on open display at the moment? Thanks in advance for any help.

Their run of form has been very similar to our own in recent weeks, and with both UCD and Bray seemingly struggling for consistency now, they certainly can't be ruled out of contention for the runners-up spot this season.
