Do they do it generally like how all Chaos Marines where its just kidnap randomly people or is there a more sophisticated approach when it comes to the Alpha Legion in them getting their neophytes?
Founding Legions I know usually can get away with most stuff because they simply got prestige and other narrative excuses but what about Successor Chapters?
At what point would they get "negative" attention from any other Imperial factions from the way they conduct stuff, like as long as you don't act like mass-murdering psychopaths, worship not-chaos idols, not aggravate any Chapter you come across etc will you just not get scrutinized and draw the eye of Imperial institutes or do Successors need to watch any action they do in the fear of being persecuted and not get sniped to near-extinction like the Celestial Lions?
Any good examples of this in the lore at all?
Aren't Nurgle cultists suppose to be happy and aware of what's happening to them as they willingly embrace Him?
The Dreg cultists or the Moebians don't ever seem to display that joy very much but they don't seem unhappy about it either, so what's up with the Poxwalkers in comparison?
Basically any sort of small dropship aircraft that can be used to insert troops planetside/across a world or stealth-deployments and what-have-you when a webway gate is out of the question?
Admittedly they are one of the few main Clans that always escaped my attention, but having seen snippets of their lore here and there; about how they are one of the more "nicer" Kindred in the setting or can heal people among other things; could someone explain to me stuff like their backstory, members, and where their standing in the lore is currently?
Secondly I was talking about what would it be like to base your character on one but I got hit with the "Well you shouldn't because they are basically the Mary Sue Runaway Clan since everyone wants you dead from how special you are" from a friend of mine, so then why do they even exist as a clan then? Just for a plothook for a DM I assume?

I've been reading some general surface lore regarding the stuff AL have done in the Heresy, without meme'ing please can someone explain to me what they were even doing?
From what I can tell after meeting with the Cabal (a weird plotpoint in itself) they just seem to have fully went to supporting the Traitors and sabotaging the Loyalists? But you got stuff like the Dropsite Massacre book apparently displaying the AL subtly helping the loyalists and things like AL in cryostasis under the Imperial Palace just waiting there? What even happened to those dudes.
As the title says from the way the fandom portrays the Truth Enforcers as commissars from temu for Helldivers i assumed they were actually a unit in-universe but from this item description it makes it sound like they arent actually real? Or am I misreading this?
Basically anything from wars to secret trade deals and the more nitty stuff you generally don't see talked about much?
