BOE Incolite 9

BOE Incolite 9

Gonna run it tomorrow, weather permitting (local private range is a mud hole when it rains hard) Blazer Clean Suppressed 147s and Sellier and Bellot 150g suppressed. Finners crossed it's as good as the reviews that got me here.

PX-9 lower loose mags?

So I have the GForce Jawbone/FM Mike upper on a PX-9 lower. I'm getting FTFs and I can absolutely tell it's due to the mags not seating properly/sitting low. This holds true with Magpul PMags, Promags, the included garbage GForce mags, and even genuine Glock mags.

Any advice before I go through the whole warranty service with PSA?

I'm about done with KelTec

So I got a gen3 Sub2k in Feb of this year. It wasn't running right from the start. Lots of FTE's using all different brands and weights of ammo. I'm fairly handy, and had seen a lot of posts regarding Mcarbo aftermarket stuff, so I decided to replace the feed ramp and the buffer pad. It was a pain in the ass to do the feed ramp, but I got it in and it functioned, but still not very well. I tried all the different stuff I found online, from polishing the buffer tube/buffer weight, running +p ammo as a "break in". using official Glock mags, etc. Nothing seemed to help much.

Finally, I gave up and contacted KelTec to send it in. Got one of the nice ladies on the phone and she explained the process, and into the mail it went.

About 2 weeks later, with no other communication, I get a FedEx notice that I will have a package from Cocoa Beach Fla delivered the next day. Ok, so they never said anything but I figure it's fine. They obviously fixed it and I'll have it the next day. But I'm OCD about my deliveries already, so I look to check the progress. It's in another state and the address is right, but the zip code is wrong. Contact KelTec and they apologize, but they'll need it returned to them and then reshipped to the proper address, as you can't change the delivery address once it's shipped. Fine. another week and it arrives properly.

I immediately head out to the range to test it and the FTE problem is actually WORSE than before I sent it in. I call KelTec from the range, and start sending photos of non-ejected brass in the chamber, sometimes completely backwards and stuck. They agree something is still not right.

I get ANOTHER FedEX label and ship it back to them. Another 2 weeks and it comes back, with a free "extended" 17 round PMag. Take it out to the range the next day. Now it's ramming the rounds into the stupid "new and improved" plastic feed ramp they installed after they pulled the Mcarbo SS ramp out. It's doing this with offical Glock mags, Pmags, suppressed, unsuppressed, etc. So now I'm getting FTF pretty much every round. This is after their gunsmith claims he fired around 100 rounds, from 160gr down to 115gr, from 5 different mags through it.

At this point, sending it in again will be getting close to the price I paid for the gun, from KelTec's perspective. At this point, I'd honestly rather they credit me for the price of the gun and let me put it towards something else like an RDB or a KP50. Since I bought the Sub2k I've picked up a Kuna, as well as built an AR9, both of which are much better guns for any 9mm use case.

Pics of the FTE's, and FTF's.

Anyone squirted the Kuna Scorpion lower yet?

Gonna give it a try next weekend, if my mag is here by then. Finners crossed!
