Best medication for GAD and OCD

I’m a 33F I’ve had anxiety since I was 13. I’ve been on anxiety meds for 15 years. I’ve tried Zoloft (made me a zombie and emotionally blunt), Lexapro (made me super angry and I’m currently on citalopram which helps but I think my body has metabolized it. What medications do you recommend to help control your anxiety? My brain doesn’t shut up it’s always thinking and I can never relax. I’ve thought about doing gene sight testing but it’s expensive. Thank you!

So sick of anxiety

I’m a 33F I’ve been dealing with anxiety since I was 13. I’ve been on every ssri I currently take citalopram 20mgs. I’ve been in therapy my whole life. I’ve been doing emdr with the same therapist for over a year now. My son is 4 years old and he just started preschool and I’ve been an absolute wreck. I thought about homeschooling but then that overwhelms me and I get anxiety from that because my stupid brain has to figure everything out all at once or I panic. I’m tired of being sad, anxious, constant thoughts, shortness of breath, dizzy, crying, arms tingling and burning. I also have sickness anxiety that I’ve been trying to work on so knowing my son is going to come home with everything is already freaking me out. I just feel like there’s no end in sight for me. I just want to enjoy my life especially with my son. I feel like he deserves a better mother. Thanks for listening

Non religious kindergarten curriculum

Hello I am considering homeschooling my four year old. He’s in preschool now but I’m considering pulling him out. He’s at a kindergarten level. Is there any full curriculums that are non religious that you recommend? Thank you!

Why did you decide to homeschool?

My son just started preschool and he’s doing good. However I am not doing so good. It just feels so unnatural to drop my kid off with someone I don’t know and kids I don’t know. He’s super smart and I feel like he could learn so much more being with me. We get out everyday for nature, friends and learning. I worry about his psychological development just being thrown into school and having to comply with all the rules. Any advice? Thank you

Sickness anxiety

How do you deal with your little one getting sick all the time when they start preschool? I have terrible sickness anxiety. Everytime my son starts to get sick I panic my arms start to tingle and burn and the dread starts to creep in. I’m worried about how long will it last? Will it get bad? Will I catch it? I hate having anxiety. I’m on medication and I do therapy and it’s been helping but school is making me dread it. Thanks for listening.

Normal for husband to punch thing when angry?

Husband punches things when he gets angry. A bed frame, a hole in the wall things like that. It scares me and I’ve expressed that to him but it still happens. Is this normal?

Anxiety over a fence?

This is a really freaking dumb question but my neighbors just put up a fence and it’s making me feel claustrophobic and trapped in my own home. I know this sounds so stupid but it’s giving me a lot of anxiety about it. Has anyone gone through this? Thanks for reading my weird post

Curriculum

Hey everyone I’m wondering what websites you recommend to purchase curriculum from. I’m looking for books or pdf downloads that I can purchase that give me a day to day schedule on what to teach my little one. I’m worried I won’t give him everything he needs to learn and I’m better with having instructions myself. Thank you!

Anxiety symptoms

Does anyone else feel like their arms tingle and burn? Like your whole body is vibrating? Constantly yawning like you can’t catch your breath? Quick to anger? I’m 33F and I’ve had anxiety since I was 13. I’m on citalopram 20mg and I’m in therapy and I do emdr but someday I’ll wake up and just be anxious and angry. I keep thinking it’s hormones or peri menopause but I don’t know. I also have a fear of traveling and I’m supposed to go on vacation with my family soon and all of sudden my anxiety kicked in last night and I hate it I feel so out of control of my own body. Even when I tell my brain I’m fine, my body freaks out. I hate being like this. Thanks for listening.
