Has anyone else started travelling in quiet places?

A few years ago, my travel bucket list was full of the usual places paris, santorini, and all the destinations you constantly see online. But recently, I've found myself enjoying quieter places a lot more.

Last year, I visited kotor, and it completely changed how I think about travel. There was something refreshing about wandering through the old town, sitting by the bay, and not feeling like I was constantly competing with crowds for a photo or rushing, can you relate to?

When did you start steroids for IBD?

My 4 year old cat recently had an ultrasound that showed some intestinal inflammation, and my vet thinks it could be early IBD. For the last few weeks he's had soft stools, occasional mucus, and a couple of days where he just seemed a little off, but he's still eating well and begging for food like normal. We switched him to a new protein diet about 10 days ago, and I'm starting to see small improvements. My vet said we could consider steroids if things don't continue improving, but she'd like to see how much the diet helps first. Did anyone manage things with diet changes alone, or did you eventually need medication?

How to handle hard stools?

I've been feeding my dog with mixed breed homemade food for a little while now, and overall he's doing great. He loves his meals, has good energy, and seems healthy, but his stools have become really hard and dry.

I've tried adding extra water, pumpkin, and plain yogurt, but I haven't seen much improvement. Right now he's eating chicken, veggies, oats, berries, and a vitamin supplement. For those of you who make your own dog food, what advices will help for his health?

my cat is scared of vacuum

Every time I vacuum, my cat runs and hides. The last time I cleaned for about 30 minutes, she stayed under the bed the whole time and wouldn't even come out to eat afterward.Has anyone found a way to help a cat get more comfortable with loud noises like the vacuum?

what is the biggest highlight of your trip?

Was it one of the well known places like Vienna or Salzburg, or maybe something more unexpected like a small village or a mountain area?I’ve been looking into Austria and I keep hearing that people have completely different experiences depending on their route some say it’s the scenery in the Alps, others mention the food or even just walking around the old towns.

My dog follows me to the kitchen

My 6 year old Lab is a little overweight and my vet wants him to lose a few pounds. He's eating Purina Pro Plan right now.He follows me into the kitchen, watches every bite I take, and begs for snacks all day. I'm trying to cut back on treats, but those sad puppy eyes are making it really hard. Has anyone else been through this?

My cat has been acting strange lately and I can’t figure out what he wants. Sometimes he follows me around meowing nonstop, paws at my legs, and randomly jumps at my sleeves or ankles. He’s normally a really sweet and affectionate cat, so he is moody and it is confusing me. Has anyone else dealt with something like this before?

I feel like every trip has at least one problem. For me the worst part is how unpredictable flying feels now. You can plan everything ahead of time and still end up stressed or stuck at the airport for hours.I used to enjoy traveling a lot more, but recently the airport experience itself has started feeling exhausting. What’s been the most annoying part of flying for you lately?
