Boyfriend in psychosis

It’s been about 9 days since he dove deep in psychosis. We have been dating 2.5 years. I tried to help him as much as I can but it’s wild. I love him so much and he was the love of my life but now I’m not sure I can be around him. He has gone completely nuts and I’m someone who has shown a lot of compassion since the switch. I’m going to step back for a while even tho I love him and miss him so much. I don’t know if a relationship will be possible with him. I’m heartbroken.

I’m so scared

My boyfriend is biopolar 1. We’ve been dating 2.5 years. He’s currently in psychosis and got taken in for evaluation. It was really bad. He was a complete different person and it was so scary. His previous episode was about 5 years ago and the first 3-4 years before that. So 3 total. I’m so scared to lose him. He is the kindest funniest man I ever met and my mind is racing at the thought he might never come back.

Need advice

Hi everyone. I live in Sacramento and my boyfriend lives in Chico. He’s bipolar 1 & currently going through psychosis. I was able to get him in for evaluation here in Sacramento but I’m afraid they might release him too soon. He’s self employed so he obviously cannot work for a while, not until he gets back to himself. I don’t have my own place and I’m not allowed guests. Because of this intense episode, he is no longer allowed to go back where he lived. I’m trying to plan ahead. He doesn’t have money and I can’t afford to help him financially anymore than I have. I don’t want him to be homeless and go back to drugs because it will make his psychosis worst. His family is overseas and not helping much. Can anyone give me any advices or tell me about any resources out there in Chico so that I can plan ahead? Please 🙏🥺

Quad size post acl surgery

(40F bodybuilder) I’m a little over 4 months post acl surgery with allograft. I had massive quads. 27 inches to be exact. One thing I’m now realizing is that people who didn’t work on gaining size for years prior to surgery, seem to regain symmetry much faster. Basically I think people with huge quads lose more muscle than people with smaller quads, because we had more muscle to begin with. This all sounds like common sense to me now but I didn’t see it that way before. Regaining all that muscle back will take me close to 2 years, even with muscle memory (If I ever get there). If you had massive quads too, the road to symmetry will probably take longer. Am I right? Or just a pessimist? 😆

Little win from today

Almost 4 months post op and I’m getting strong really quickly. 2 months ago I couldn’t press any weight! I am very cautious and make sure I follow progressive overload. I started with 5 pounds on each side.. which was ridiculous compared to how strong I was prior to injury. Im just so happy because I really hit my lowest after surgery. I was a very active girl with an impressive physique. This injury killed my ego and I’m now just happy to be here. My quad is still very small and feels like jello but with time, I’ll get there :)

Quad still not firing

Hey guys, I need advice. I’m 3.5 months out of acl surgery with allograft and I’m at loss because I can never feel much in my quad. I know this is common but I’m approaching 4 months and my quad is still a noodle. The other gets so sore but my surgical leg never does. I had to let go of my PT because whatever I do there is too easy and more for general population. I also can’t afford it anymore and I work much harder on my own. I guess I’m just trying to see if that’s normal at this stage. I’m Struggling with how I look big time. 😞 what they looked like vs now..

Hey guys. Im taking a keep of faith. I never really put all my focus on online coaching but I want to try it now. I have a decent following on social media and I have lost 100 pounds in the beginning of my fitness journey. Working in gyms is hard for me because Im profoundly hard of hearing and gyms can be so loud. Online coaching would be awesome for me but I’m not sure where to start. I started building a website. I’m just afraid I might forget something important before I start taking clients. Do I need insurance? I’m also wondering what is the best/easiest app to coach clients besides trainerize? Thank you for your help!
