Davao city was recently flooded, so was our car (Wigo, automatic), last Tuesday. Around 5 inches above the plate number yung height ng water. I just wanted to know what the next steps are and what procedures should be done? May ma recommend po ba kayo na car repair shops and how much does it usually cost, para di po kami ma scam 😂

We tried to dry it out as much as possible. Naka open lang po yung hood the whole day yesterday in hopes of drying it out. We tried using the car today and it runs fine pero naka on po yung engine signal niya.

We know nothing about cars talaga huhu.

If you were me, will you accept the 18 k basic offer from the private hospital, or wait for the government hospital, with 32k salary as JO?

The private hospital has a 2 year bond and 60k penalty if you ever choose to break it po. Both hospitals are tertiary hospitals, but the private has 250 bed capacity while the government has currently around 1.5k bed capacity, planning to increase to 2.5k bed capacity.

Lahat naman nakakapasok sa government hospital dito but sobrang hina ng process (may iba 1 year na yung application pero wala oang text). I do have solid references sa government hospital, but no backer 😂

Sa mga naay backer sa SPMC, unsa ba na klase na backer ang inyuha HAHAHAHA If HR ba jud, staff nurse, head nurse, chief nurse, doctor, etc.

Gusto lang ko makabalo kay curious ko. Anonymous bitaw so share share lang. Nag apply man gud ko unya dugay jud ang progress. Naa pud koy kaila within 1 week nakakuha dayun ug text for exam.

Situation: New grad, Nov 2025 passer, and still no work experience.

Let’s say you get an offer from Hospital A.

HOSPITAL A: 250 bed capacity, tertiary private hospital, 18k basic salary (16k net). 2 year contract bond and 60k penalty. You are about to start on June 15.

There is this tertiary government hospital in the city where you could earn 32k a month. You will send in your application this Monday. Hiring process is extremely slow. Some people applied since last Feb and still no text or update.

You also applied to other two private tertiary hospitals. No callbacks yet. But these 2 hospitals have no contract bond or only have 6 months max bond.

You want to get in the government hospital for better compensation, but scared about the timeline. Goal is makapag abroad. I also plan on taking the NCLEX around September or October.

If you were in this situation, what would you do? Would you take Hospital A’s offer and complete the 2 year contract, or wait until you can get an offer from the government hospital, knowing it could take AT LEAST MINIMUM 3-4 months before you receive an update?

Hello! May former nurses ba dito sa DDH? Anyone who experienced breaking their 2 year contract bond? How much did you pay po? Were you able to get your COE easily, provided you paid the penalty and rendered your 30 day notice?

I’m quite hesitant on applying sa DDH kasi due to the 2 year bond and very low salary (16k net). However, parang wala na akong choice since ito lang yung hospital na may progress sa aking application.

Maganda naman yung hospital. Tertiary tapos 250 bed capacity, which is good if you’re thinking of applying sa US. But walang mabubuhay sa 16k na salary. Would like to work na sana agad since sayang yung time but will resign if ever may opportunity na sa government hospital.

Hello! Naa bay naka try mag break contract sa DDH? Before 2 years? Pilay nabayaran ninyo? Nakakuha ba mog COE dayun, as long as nabayaran ang penalty ug naka render 30 day service?

Hesitant man gud ko na mag DDH pero murag mao nalang ni last choice considering how hard makakuha ng bedside job sa Davao (although wala pa may offer sa ako, mao ra jud ang hospital na naay progress since naka psych exam nako).

Naa bay mga nurses diri sa SPMC? Mangutana unta ko kung naka try mo transfer ug area? Unsa mo kadugay nag stay sa inyung unit before nag transfer?

Akong pinsan kay sa ward man gud na assign (new grad and new hire) pero gusto niya mag transfer sa ICU if ever kay dream area daw niya. Di usa niya gusto ibring up sa iyahang mga superiors kay basig initan daw siya sa iyahang ka workmates.

Basig naay mga tao naka experience mag transfer. Send tips and tricks kung unsaon kay dili pud lalim ang trabaho sa nurse unya di nimo gusto ang area 😭
