How do you overcome emotional numbness and brain fog after leaving corporate burnout?

Hi everyone,

I worked in corporate for almost 4 years before finally leaving. During that time, I suffered from frequent tension headaches, and my anxiety skyrocketed. Looking back, I don't ever remember feeling stressed or anxious before taking that job.

Since quitting, several things have improved: the headaches are gone, life feels more hopeful, and my overall anxiety has decreased. However, I feel like my emotions are completely out of balance. I don't feel deeply happy or sad about anything anymore; it's almost like my ability to feel emotions has been numbed, which leaves me feeling stuck in a low-level sadness most of the time. On top of that, I overthink everything, struggle to stay present in the moment, and lack drive or motivation.

If you’ve experienced something similar, how did you overcome it? I know the idea of getting "1% better every day" helps, but I've really struggled to stay consistent with it.

Thanks in advance!

Overcoming emotional numbness and feeling disconnected after years of chronic stress

Need hair diffuser recommendations under ₹5k. Please!

Hey everyone! I’m looking to buy my very first hair diffuser, but I’m a bit lost on which one to pick and would love some recommendations.

My Requirements:

  • Budget: Max ₹5,000
  • Must-haves: A dedicated cool setting/shot and good long-term durability.

What I’ve considered so far:

  • I was leaning toward the Agaro BLDC, but I’ve read several reviews mentioning overheating issues.
  • Philips seems reliable, but their options in this category fall outside my budget.

For those with similar setups, what diffuser are you currently using? Any models you’d recommend or suggest avoiding? Thanks in advance!

Hair type: 2c, High porosity.

Hi,
I’m a 24F traveling to Shimla next week. My bus drops me off at MC Parking(Townhouse Oak ISBT) around 7:30 PM, and I wanted to ask what the safest and most convenient way is to get to Mall Road at that time (with luggage).

I’m planning to stay near Mall Road, so any advice on transport or tips would really help. Thanks!
