Is this speaker desirable? 80's MS-12 Black Shadow

So, I came into one of these speakers recently and have been trying to look things up.

Pictured is a listing from a decade ago describing it as rare. There's someone trying to sell one with a blown cone on eBay right now for $250 (obviously too much)

My speaker is identical, functional, sounds great.

Is it actually a rare speaker that a Mesa guy would pay decent money for?

Anyone know what this is actually worth?

How do you all use internet and watch videos on a 4:3 CRT?

Hey guys, I've been considering using my CRT for watching some youtube and playing old shows and stuff.

I've been thinking maybe a Roku stick with a hdmi to component converter, or maybe a Raspberry Pi would be the best route due to more options and possibilities? I heard I can use a TRSS (4 band) to composite cable straight out of a Raspberry Pi into the TV.

What do you guys do?

For sale is my Microtech Ulltratech from 2022. I purchased it brand new from a gun shop in South Dakota.

It has the Bayonet style blade, has seen little use and mostly sat in my office as a fidget toy.

I re-oiled it with REM oil in 2024.

​

NAD Music Man HD150 (question for amp guys below..)

Just picked up this HD150 head. It was supposed to come with a 2×12 cab, but for some reason he sold that and didnt change the listing. I tested it on a 4×12, and I mentioned that I'm gonna hook it up to a 112 8ohm 150 speaker I have for now. He suggested I not do that, but I dont get why. It should work, right?

Couple of questions.

  1. On the 8 ohm setting on amp, can I run this into a single 12" 8ohm 150 watt speaker?

  2. 3rd picture shows someone using a patch cable between the normal and bass channels. What does this do?

  3. What happens if I run my stereo pedal output into both the normal channel and bass channel? It seems that both channels operate simultaneously.

Any help would be appreciated!! Excited to get this singing. Just gotta find a good 2×12 cab!
