Hey all, so recently my classic 30 stopped working. Here's what happened;

Was jamming in the garage with a friend on drums and my amp's volume slowly faded from loud to silent. Then, after like 10 seconds it weirdly slowly faded back in to full volume, but then faded back out to silence again and has stayed that way since.

Is this indicative of a tube going out? Should I get a new set of tubes?

EDIT: it seems like the allen key slot on the truss rod is stripped out and the allen key just spins in slot. Rod could maybe still work. Any advice on what I could do about that?

So, I just got a great deal on this guitar for 100 bucks. Classic Vibe Squier.

It has super high action. I started by loosening the strings and seeing if I could bring back the neck bow with the truss rod.

The truss rod unfortunately seems like it just spins, which is not a good sign. Doesn't seem like it is threading in or giving any resistance.

Then, I tried lowering the saddles which helped a bit, but if I go too low I get dead notes past the 12th fret. I made sure to match the radius of the fretboard..

Is my only option before bringing it to a shop to try a neck shim? Raise the heel side up a little bit?

Any advice would be appreciated. I've done setups, but never encountered a non working truss rod and am still an amateur.

Hey all, for those of you who have tried a few or more classes in Convergence 3.0, what are your top 3?

For me, I have only played 3 so far, but am wondering what to choose next.

1. Stormcaller - super fun physical damage build where I could buff my physical power and speed. Casting a tornado and staggering 5 enemies at once is awesome. I constantly used Cloud Form and Tempest Form, zooming around with storm backhand blades is insane (as well as using Time Warp from Dragon Cultist build for extra speed). Fun build!!

2. Dragon Cultist - this class was awesome and super flashy. The electric and the new weapons are so fun. Nuking stuff with late spells was awesome. Loved Godwyn's Cragblades.

3. Blood Initiate - it was fun, but I found the weapons to be a bit lacking. It felt pretty similar to my old arcane builds imo. There were a few good new spells. I haven't fully fleshed out this playthrough yet, but I have not been enjoying it as much.

So, I came into one of these speakers recently and have been trying to look things up.

Pictured is a listing from a decade ago describing it as rare. There's someone trying to sell one with a blown cone on eBay right now for $250 (obviously too much)

My speaker is identical, functional, sounds great.

Is it actually a rare speaker that a Mesa guy would pay decent money for?

Anyone know what this is actually worth?

For sale is my Microtech Ulltratech from 2022. I purchased it brand new from a gun shop in South Dakota.

It has the Bayonet style blade, has seen little use and mostly sat in my office as a fidget toy.

I re-oiled it with REM oil in 2024.

Just picked up this HD150 head. It was supposed to come with a 2×12 cab, but for some reason he sold that and didnt change the listing. I tested it on a 4×12, and I mentioned that I'm gonna hook it up to a 112 8ohm 150 speaker I have for now. He suggested I not do that, but I dont get why. It should work, right?

Couple of questions.

1. On the 8 ohm setting on amp, can I run this into a single 12" 8ohm 150 watt speaker?

2. 3rd picture shows someone using a patch cable between the normal and bass channels. What does this do?

3. What happens if I run my stereo pedal output into both the normal channel and bass channel? It seems that both channels operate simultaneously.

Any help would be appreciated!! Excited to get this singing. Just gotta find a good 2×12 cab!
