How can I make money from stitching and designing clothes from home?

I'm a housewife and a mother and lately I have more free time on my hands so instead of just letting it go to waste I really want to use it to earn some extra $$$ for myself.

The problem is I don't have any professional skills or work experience but one I do love stitching and designing clothes. I make my own dresses and also design outfits for my daughter. So I'm wondering if this is actually something I could turn into a side income.

I have tried taking custom stitching orders from people nearby but honestly it didn't work out because there are already so many women doing stitching in my area so the competition is huge and people mostly go for whoever is cheapest.

I was wondering if there's a way to use this skill for customers abroad somehow? Maybe selling designs, taking online custom orders, kids' clothes or something I haven't thought of. Has anyone done something like this from home?

Trying to build something for myself too. Looking for honest online work or freelance opportunities.

I'm a stay at home mother trying to rebuild my career after years of putting family responsibilities first. Things changed financially and I realized I need to stand on my own feet again.

Over time I've learned skills in content writing, basic graphic design, video editing, catalog making and customer dealing/sales support. I may not have years of agency experience but I'm hardworking, quick to learn and genuinely serious about earning through honest work.

I'm looking for remote work, freelance tasks or even small projects to start with. I can help with:

• Canva graphics posts

• Short video editing

• Product captions and descriptions

• Catalog designing

• Social media support

• Customer replies and messages

• Sales support and client dealing

• Basic content writing

I'm willing to work at beginner friendly rates while building experience and reviews.

If anyone is hiring or needs help please message me. Even guidance or referrals would mean a lot right now.

I swear it was supposed to be a quick scroll

Stalked this person a bit too hard at this time of night and now I feel like I have accidentally absorbed their whole internet personality. Even started speaking like them... also I may or may not have liked a random old video from 2016 🫣

I should probably sleep before I learn their blood type too 💀

I picked up {Still Mine by Anthea Reiling} on a whim, without expecting much and I'm so glad I did. I think I have officially found my favorite trope. A second chance romance filled with longing and pining especially when there's no unnecessary love triangle or extra drama from other love interests. Just Jared and Maddie cuties. 🥰

Also I really appreciated the supporting characters Sylvie and David.

This was actually my first book by this author and I genuinely loved her writing style.

Now I'm in that post book slump where nothing else feels enough and I'm craving more stories with the same vibes.

If you know any books like this please recommend them. TIA.

Parenting is hard. One day your child might casually tell you right in the middle of your meal "mum, do you know Koalas poop is square" and you're just sitting there like hey... I'm trying to eat. No warning and no context just some random facts dropping at the most inappropriate times. As weird as it gets these are the moments you end up laughing about later.

‎I just finished {Problematic Summer Romance by Ali Hazelwood} and I feel so incomplete like the story just left me hanging in the best and worst way. I need more. I need to know more about Conner and Maya.

‎I really loved the tension, the comfort and the quiet understanding between them… and I adored Maya so much. She felt so real to me... honestly Conner is so lucky. Truly. 🤧

‎I haven't read Not in Love but from what I've seen it's Rue and Eli's story... tbh I'm not that interested in diving into theirs right now because I already know how they end up lol also I'm not ready to move on from Connor and Maya yet. I just want someone to tell me exactly which chapters mention them in Not in Love so I can go and read only those. 🫣
