Has anyone heard if RevAir has any plans to launch in the UK?

I have natural 4C hair and I’ve wanted a RevAir for ages, but it’s still unavailable here. Does anyone know if there’s been any news about a UK release, or if RevAir has said anything recently? Or any similar product in the UK?

I’m tired of my 4C hair and I feel guilty admitting it

Has anyone else with long, thick 4C hair reached a point where they’re just tired of it?

My hair is healthy, thick, and past bra-strap length, but honestly, I feel like it has become a chore rather than something I enjoy.

I’m constantly putting it in protective styles because I don’t know what else to do with it. If I wear it out, it tangles easily. Afro and buns leave me with so much detangling, twist-outs and braid-outs require constant maintenance, and blowouts are frustrating because humidity or water immediately makes it shrink back.

Even wash day feels exhausting. Washing, deep conditioning, detangling, doing LOC/LCO, and spending hours just to put it back into another protective style is making me wonder if the length is even worth it.

Going to salons is also stressful because the detangling can be so painful. I’m not a wig person either, so that isn’t really an option for me. I also can’t afford Japanese hair straightening or keratin treatment.

The hardest part is that I feel guilty for even having these thoughts. The natural hair movement has shaped the way I see myself and my hair, so part of me feels like wanting to cut it or relax it means I’m somehow rejecting my identity or giving up.

But at the same time, I’m starting to realise that I’m not enjoying my hair anymore. I miss my TWA days. My short afro felt fun and easy. I could wear it out, dye it, stretch it, and experiment without feeling overwhelmed.

Has anyone else experienced this conflict? How did you handle feeling tired of your natural hair without feeling guilty? Did you cut it, relax it, or find a routine that helped you enjoy your hair again?

Kendall Jenner would have been insufferable if she was the only Jenner-Kardashian

I was thinking about this the other day: if Kendall had been the only Jenner-Kardashian child, I genuinely think she would have been insufferable.

I don’t mean her anxiety isn’t real. I just think that if she had been the only one carrying the family name, she’d constantly remind everyone how impossible her life is and how nobody could ever understand what she’s been through.

Having Kylie there changed the dynamic. Kendall wasn’t the only Jenner growing up in the spotlight, and eventually Kylie became an even bigger cultural phenomenon, so the attention wasn’t always on Kendall.

I honestly think if Kylie didn’t exist, Kendall would have leaned much harder into the “you don’t understand my life” narrative. I can picture her making it a huge part of her public persona.

Am I way off, or does anyone else think this?

When did your baby start sitting independently? My 5-month-old still needs tripod sitting.

My baby is 5 months old and isn’t sitting independently yet. She can sit in the tripod position (leaning forward with her hands on the floor for support), but after a short time she loses her balance and falls over.

I know every baby develops at their own pace, but I’m wondering when your babies were able to sit without support.

Are there any exercises, games, or activities that helped them develop the strength and balance needed to sit independently? Or is it mostly just something that comes with time and practice?

I’d love to hear your experiences and any tips you found helpful.

How do I save money privately from my partner? - England

I’ve been with my partner for several years. We live together and have a baby, but we’re not married.

He knows how much I earn, and I contribute to our household expenses. I’m not trying to avoid paying bills or hide debt. I just want to build my own emergency savings and have some financial independence.

The problem is that he sometimes sees my bank statements, so he knows how I spend my money. I’m wondering what I can realistically do to put some money aside without it being obvious, or whether there’s a reasonable excuse I can use if he asks about it.

Fiancé (M38) wants me (F 28) to use my £25k savings for our house deposit - UK

My fiancé and I have been engaged for a year and have a 5-month-old daughter. We live in a house he owns 50/50 with his mom.

He’s invested most of his money in his business, so he wants to use my £25k savings for the deposit on a new place. He says he’ll cover the bills afterwards since I’m on maternity leave. He wants to buy the house before we get married.

I currently pay him £350/month here. He’s a great dad and very helpful.

What are the main financial and legal risks for me as an unmarried mom in the UK if I do this? Are there better ways to protect myself (e.g. agreements or timing of marriage)? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Looking for risks and practical advice.

Asking friend for repayment

I lent a friend £250 about a year ago and I want to ask for the money back. We aren’t as close anymore and haven’t spoken in months.

How should I go about asking for it without making things awkward? Should I just message them directly, and what should I say?

Postpartum

I’m a mom with a 4 month old baby. I stopped ebf recently and thought things will get better but I still feel exhausted and unmotivated most days. The house is constantly messy and even basic baby activities like reading feel overwhelming. My partner works full time and I stay home. Is this just laziness? And what are realistic expectations for baby activities at this stage?

Letter before action draft - small claims England

Hello. Please do i need to add evidence like bank transfer statement, WhatsApp screenshot in this letter? I want to send it by post. Also do i need to add “I refer you to the Practice Direction on pre-action conduct under the Civil Procedure Rules, and in particular to paragraph 13-16 which sets out the sanctions the court may impose if you fail to comply with the Practice Direction.” to the bottom of this letter?

LETTER
Dear Mr x,

I write regarding the outstanding sum of £1,500 owed to me. This letter is sent in accordance with the Practice Direction – Pre-Action Conduct and Protocols and constitutes a formal Letter Before Claim. If this matter is not resolved within the required timeframe, I intend to commence County Court proceedings without further notice.

On 27 October 2024, I transferred £3,000 to you from my post-study funds. Following our WhatsApp conversations around that time, it was agreed that you would pay 7% interest until December 2024 if the funds remained with you. However, no interest payment was made.

On 17 February 2025, following my request for repayment of part of the funds, you repaid £1,500, leaving a remaining balance of £1,500 outstanding. In subsequent WhatsApp communications, you acknowledged the outstanding balance and requested further time to repay it.

Despite my requests for repayment, the outstanding sum of £1,500 remains unpaid. I therefore require payment of £1,500 within 14 days of deemed service of this letter.

Payment should be made to:
Account Name: [Your Name]
Sort Code: [Sort Code]
Account Number: [Account Number]

If you dispute this claim, you must provide your reasons for disputing the claim and any documents you intend to rely upon within the same 14-day period.

I remain willing to consider Alternative Dispute Resolution if it may assist in resolving this matter without court proceedings.

If payment is not received within 14 days of deemed service, I will issue a claim in the County Court without further notice. I will seek the outstanding £1,500, the applicable court fee, and any other costs recoverable by the court.

Please treat this letter as my final attempt to resolve this matter before proceedings are commenced.

Yours sincerely,
 M

Small Claims Court - Friend won’t return £1,500 he was holding for me

Hello. Thank you in advance. I’m in England and I’m considering taking someone to the Small Claims Court.
In October 2024, I transferred £3,000 to someone I knew for safekeeping. On 8 February 2025, I asked him to return £1,500 so I could pay for a beauty course and asked him to continue holding the remaining £1,500. He sent me the £1,500.
Since then, I’ve repeatedly asked for the remaining £1,500. He kept saying he didn’t have the money and told me that when I wanted my money, I needed to give him time. He has now blocked me.
I have bank transfer records and WhatsApp messages, including messages where he refers to it as “your money.”
Do I have a good small claim to recover the remaining £1,500? Would the WhatsApp messages and bank transfers likely be enough evidence?

In addition, he works as a carer and he is a trustee of a charity in london. He also uses two different names; the name on his international passport differs from the name linked to his bank account. I am therefore unsure which legal name should be used for the Letter Before Action.

I also need guidance on drafting a Letter Before Action. Should I describe this as money given for safekeeping, or classify it as a personal loan/personal debt? I am unsure which wording is correct for legal purposes.
