3 year anniversary of moving and made ZERO friends in NYC

My work is remote, so I've moved to NYC for culture and dating 3 y o today. I got disappointed in dating within 2 months of swiping. I enjoy Broadway, Central Park here and there, MET, and a slice of pizza sometimes(everything else was found in my previous locale too). I haven't made ANY friends. I live alone. I've tried bumble for friends but all i met was lesbians who wanted to date. I live paycheck to paycheck and wonder if I should move to a cheaper locale. I'm in my late 30s. Is it over? Or can I still make friends SOMEHOW?

Does it make sense to move?

salary: 150k, location: NYC, current rent: 2,500, includes utilities.

current place is a shoebox with no w/d but the location is nice, UES.

considering moving to harlem, 40 blocks up and paying 3,500 +utilities a month. I get paid 6,800 net a month. the harlem apartment is lux, is a 1bedroom has a w&d.

i am on thin ice at work, my boss hates me and wrote me up multiple times in the past 3 years, to be able to fire me any day she wants.

im not really able to save much now, the only time i saved was when i received a bonus, so i have 30k on my savings account.

Is it wrong of me to assume that only losers pair up to rent together?

Whenever i read a post of a couple looking for a place to live i immediately assume he is using her for free sex and to have 50% off rent, and she's using him for rent, and that separately on their own they cannot live in this city.

does it make sense to move to Harlem from UES? (newer building, nicer aprt)

I currently live on 80s and East End and pay 2,500 for a studio in prewar, utilities included.
does it make sense to move to 120s Street in East Harlem to a 1b1b with w&d and pay 3,500 plus utilities? I absolutely hate laundromats and have an OCD to give it to wash&fold.

edit: salary 140k

5 weeks of torture, will it go away?

2 days after my third egg retrieval I've started experiencing persistent tingling and numbness in labia. It's been 5 weeks and counting. Has anyone experienced this? Googling it says it's pudendal nerve damage

Vaginal nerve compression/irritation during Egg Retrieval
