Questions about Cirque Du Sin

I finished the arc recently and I must say, it was one of the most original ideas I've ever read, it was beautiful yet chilling. I can say it really works as a good psychological thriller

I have a few questions since I feel lost, >! especially elements like Fifth dimension involves !<

>! So..this cirque and Zanni is in the fifth dimension, and they are not visible to anyone in third dimension except the children. Well I am still curious about Zanni's identity but I think it does not have one, like Nite-Mite it can take any shape it wants I think? That was the first question !<

Speaking of >! Nite-Mite who is my favorite imp, he infected Teen Titans building because Zanni poisoned (?) him in fifth dimension right? And since emotions don't exist in fith dimension (?) It was first time Nite-Mite felt pain, so that's why Barbara made an ontological soup and ended his pain but I am still lost how he turned into a soup? So..creating Robin soldiers and Nightwing-Prime was Nite-Mite's coping mechanism against pain I think? That was the second question !<

I think that's it, it definitely deserves a re-reading to understand it better! >! I Will definitely miss Bryce..but I am happy about he is happy fighting towards Zanni, finish him Bryce! !<

I finished Rebels Season 1

First of all, as a kid who grew up with Disney Channel and who was a kid when the show was aired, I am surprised I miss this show but I am glad I am watching it

I am already bounded with the team! I think everyone is my favorite but Kanan is my more favorite heh!

>! Unfortunately I learnt he is dead..since Ahsoka S2 trailer dropped and I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS SO I AM QUITE SAD !<

I like the humor, I like how Chopper is quite wild like he is the funniest droid I see I think with K2

Overall, I think the first season prepared a good starting point, I feel like >! There is more to learn about Ezra's family as well !<

I am quite excited to see the team in Ahsoka too!

And again, I remember how the empire annoys me so much like how do you think you can have the right to cause all these pains?! This is why I like stories like Andor and Rebels, the cold and harsh reality of the empire hits your face

On my way for season 2!

TellTale Batman: The Enemy Within OneShot

Hi! I finished TellTale Batman: The Enemy Within and >!I chose to quit Batman in order to convince Alfred. Well my gut tells Bruce wouldn't do that but I am not him! heh. Also, I couldn't help but to attach Joker here, I totally despise him in comics but here..well it is a different story. Shame we can't that a season three and with the prologue, I want to imagine what could be a possible scenario if Bruce quits being Batman!<. So I wrote an oneshot. I used to write fanfics when I was a teenager so this felt nostalgic and a little bit emotional. English is not my first language so sorry for the grammatical mistakes beforehand. I hope you enjoy it!

I finished Tom Taylor's Run

Today I finished Tom Taylor's Run and I wanted to share my thoughts

When I decided to read Nightwing, his run was the most one suggested to read but I wanted to learn Dick from the very beginning and almost one year later, I am here. Firstly, the very reason why I decided to read (Dick's tiktok edits from this Run 😅), seeing them in person (i have the first 2 volume of the run physically) is like seeing Mona Lisa in real life hehe. I think one thing everyone agrees that how artstyle and coloring was perfect and absolutely mesmerizing

Now abour the story:

I think the beginning was promising, tho at first I was surprised about >! Alfred choosing him over Bruce to leave his wealth but since Bruce is already a billionaire it made sense !< but then I loved how >! Dick processed his projects, i think from this perspective, this run made Blüdhaven's social state wayy better than the others, but I assume it is already damaged by the villains (I haven't started to current run) !<

About the Heartless...again at first, he was quite mysterious and promising. I already liked Blockbuster and for me he is what Joker and Penguin (idk but I feel like he is more damaging for Gotham after Joker for me) for Gotham, and seeing a competitor was nice. However, when I read the 2022 annual I thought "is that it?" Like...really?? Where is the motivation? What was >! His butler's story? Why did he chose heartless when he was kid? Obviously, heartless' father was abusive but..overvall I am still clueless about why he turned into a villain, and why he targeted parents? Like he idolized Zucco but..like did he inspired him to kill his own parents? Then all parents? I really feel clueless. I can't say I am satisfied, like i don't know if it's possible but I want to read blockbuster as the main villain !<

Also, I agree with complaints about Barbara's characterisization. I don't remember her being this clingy like love fooled and too generic? Like she's the oracle she is more than that. Like I feel I am watching a romcom from 2000s, the run overall give me these vibes.

I liked the filler arcs but I agree on there were too many. I like nite-wing! 5th dimension is my favorite definitely. Also, pirate arc was cool as well. >! Learning about Bea and this whole secret pirate society was quite fun. And currently I am watching AC Black Flag resynced so it was a good coincidence, heh !<

Of course my favorite is Haley! I hope she will appear regularly, like I didn't think before Dick having a pet but I know it was a good decision

The most emotional panel for me was >! Dick and Bruce talking in front of Alfred's grave. I literally teared up a little like "I LOVE MY DYNAMIC DUO SO MUCH 😭😭", like I can't..I love them so so much !<

And another thing I would agree that Dick was quite positive in this run. Of course he had his internal conflicts but he usually has emotional swings, like he suffers we all know that. So it felt like something was missing because one thing I like about Dick is his struggles and pessimistic moments feel human and real. Like they help me to connect with him and normalize being down, sad, hurt but to recover as well.

I read a comment like "this was your friendly neighbor Nightwing" and I agree 100%. Would I say this run ruined Nightwing and his character? I don't think it was so so bad but I wouldn't recommend it as a starting point for nightwing because the differences with other runs are dramatic in terms of characterization and it would be like a cultural shock. It is not like Dick is always grumpy or always serious but he is not always sunshine and rainbows. For me, he resembles Bruce so so much even though they are quite different.

Overall, would I re-read this run? Maybe. Especially filler arcs, and to see the artsyle. For the main story, it wasn't that moving for me but it had potential definitely. I enjoyed but it could be much much better

I finished SW:Jedi Fallen Order

Firstly, I really really enjoyed Cal. I am currently engaging with other characters like I am currently watching Andor and exploring SW universe through other characters is quite good. I didn't know there was a sequel game so I will definitely play it

However, I have a little bit complaints. So, I think this is discussed when the game was released but I felt like I played Tomb Raider rather than a SW game. I think the problem is except Dahtomir and Ilum, the rest of the planets have similar vibes. Like of course we know Kashyyyk so it's okay but I think the rest 2 could have different vibes, like they all feel like more nature habitated world

PUZZLES! I usually like puzzles but i felt like there was kinda much for a SW game, i think my expectations was centered about having a pure action game, puzzles are a reason why I felt like I'm playing Tomb Raider

And some parkours also contributed that

I definitely enjoyed Cal's restoring his bond with force and >!order 66 flashback was quite emotional and heartbreaking :(( !<

I definitely bonded with characters so that was cool, my 2nd fav is Geeze hehe

It was also my first soulslike game so it was challenging for me and kinda annoying. I am not sure if I enjoyed the genre, i definitely meditated A LOT, and in other games, I rarely change my difficulty but here I usually beat bosses in story mode, i should get use to soulslike mechanics

Lastly, >!I think Vader sequence was epic. I unfortunately had spoilers about it but at the same time it was not surprising, like it made sense. He really gave me chills and once again, I felt sorry for Anakin. Like, especially when Ceere said to her Padawan "I failed you" I lost it..Oh Anakin..!<

>!And also, I liked how Cal destroyed the holocron. Personally, I find the jedi system problematic like most people do, and I don't know in current timeline how it is? I think in Sequels the traditional jedi order is completely over? I still didnt watch them so idk but I really liked the decision. That scene where we saw he was in dark side was terrifying !<

Overall, it was an enjoyable game. As I said, at some point I forgot this was a SW game heh but I enjoyed it and I would want to replay it. I hope in next game this Tomb raiderness is less, I want to see effects of empire more! Like I think in Zeffo? it was pretty good with stormtroopers and imperial tech everywhwre. Kashyyyk also but anyways

7.5/10 💖 when I become smoother in soulslike I will revisit the game and beat bosses in normal difficulty I hope!!

My first (?) Soulslike Experience

Hello! I am currently playing Star Wars:Fallen Order and from what I understand it is a soulslike game and I wanted to share my two coins about the genre

I haven't finished the game but I can tell I needed some time to get familiar with the system. Firstly, I must say respawning again and again made me tired 😭 so I can say this is the first time I casually change the difficulty to the easiest, and also to make sure I save it again and again when I found a meditation area

Secondly, I discovered I can't parry heh..Or I actually can but I don't know how I can do that? I must say the finishing animations are Hella cool! I really want to improve and rather than just blindly attacking, I want to parry and see those animations more

Thirdly, I'm not sure soulslike games share this type of map where you open shortcuts and everywhere is connected. At first I was losing my direction but after the shortcuts things became easier definitely, but I missed fast travel 😭

And actually Fallen Order showed me that soulslike is not for my taste I think, I was curious about Dark Souls and Elden Ring and they are on my wishlist, and I know their reputation as being quite difficult but on the other hand, I also liked using a lightsaber it's definitely so cool, using the force is cooler even! So I think I'll see whether I want to deep dive to the fromsoftware games and have this experince with a sword

So that was it folks, huge respect to those who play and even speed run soulslike games on the highest difficulties! Have fun!!

Skipping Ric Arc

Hi! Ric arc is the next arc in my reading order and I know the reputation of the arc was quite bad, and I do want to skip it actually

From what I read from other readers is that currently, that arc is like forgotten and never mentioned. Also, I am quite curious about current run, I am reading a lot of positive comments so I want to dive to it

As someone who skipped Devin Grayson's period, I don't mind to skip this one either but I don't want to miss big stuff if Ric arc has
