in a lot of important meetings ive noticed recently that the ceo´s or other execs always looks at me for validation after they say something or ask questions. im completely new in the firm, I dont have much experience and I dont talk unless I really have to. Same if they try to recap on something where their memory is maybe a bit vague, they look at me. as if they want me to give them a little nod of approval. even if its 30 people in the room they always find me and stare at me if their jokes landed well or If they were to harsh etc. I try to not get noticed, I just sit there casually I dont want to talk I dont want any attention. yet I always get in this situation with multiple leaders. What is really going on here? do they somehow sense that I can read the room and if they are lying? its very confusing but also a bit fascinating lol

what are your remedies for a master that is distorting? I have tried reducing the peaks on the kick, bass, snare, lead using a soft clipper. im not in red / clipping anywhere on the channels. i´m also compressing on individual channels where there are high transients. TP is -2/3db. But to gain commercial loudness I have to drive the limiter in what seems almost unreasonable amount of gain, and then it starts sounding distorted. I dont have much else going on in the master chain except an Oxford Inflator. Is soft clipping on the master the solution? I just dont want my tracks to sound way lower in volume than others on Spotify and similar platforms. Thanks for any help!

I have a female colleague and when we have meetings together just the two of us she gets very close, laughs and says hope im not breaking your intimate zone as she gets closer to see the monitor. she will also put her feet where mine are so that we slightly touch. and she keeps them there knowing very well we are touching. I just notice my whole body ramp up and my brain starts firing. also, she is drop dead gorgeous. but its still work ya know

There is a woman at work and we have been having more frequent meetings just the two of us. a couple of times now she takes her chair and moves it very close to mine when we are looking at the screen which I usually lead. she laughs and says "sorry for breaking your intimate zone". she also stretches her legs so that our shoes slightly touch under the table. I thought it was an accident the first time, but she did it again recently and this time I didn't move them. I thought what is going on, is she doing it on purpose? we sat like this for a long time pretending to care about some spreadsheets and I got butterflies.

What's on her mind?! what is she hoping im gonna do. I also told her that im about to be moved somewhere else in the org and then she countered shortly after that she too has some potential thing in another country (what a coincidence right?) lol. idk what to do, I keep telling myself this is all in my head. she is absolutely stunning, but I am very shy. she is more extroverted and tries to smoke me out of my shell. what's her next move?! if this wasn't in a workplace I would give her a kiss without hesitating.
