Added the egg , dab of ginger paste and also used Swanson’s “Ramen” broth. It’s nothing spectacular but light and healthy for a hot night.
Excited to dive into this.
So far “Cooking Fresh” has been fantastic, haven’t tried the “Heirloom Vegetable” book yet, and I am absolutely saving Charles Dickens for winter cooking!
Relatively new to sci-fi and was wondering if anyone has this and if you have a favorite story! Just picked this up from the thrift store to “get my feet” a little more wet in the genre.
Has anyone tried that new Himalayan restaurant near Best Pizza called Yeti’s Kitchen?
I want to try it but never had Himalayan food so I was wondering what someone might recommend as a “must try”!
Hello!
Not sure if this is allowed, but I’m curious if anyone has this book and if so what your thoughts are on it and if there’s anything you’d recommend in it.
New to the concept of herbs and cocktails and this intrigued me.
Thanks!
Hello!
I was wondering if there are any places in MA (ideally Bristol County area) that offers culinary classes. I'm specifically looking for canning and pickling.
I know there are hundreds of videos online, but I'm a very hands on learner and I also appreciate building community with in person classes when possible.
On the subject, if anyone knows of any websites/apps/etc. out there that list classes for hobbies in your area it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
“To our loyal Mon Kou guests and community:
With heavy hearts, Mon Kou Restaurant will be permanently closing its doors on Sunday, May 31st, 2026 due to retirement.
This decision was not made lightly, and it comes with a mix of emotions — gratitude for the countless memories, pride in the meals we've shared, and sadness in saying goodbye.
This family-owned business, under the leadership of 2 generations, has been serving the Attleboro community for 54 years. Since opening our doors in 1971, we've had the privilege of welcoming generations of families, friends, and neighbors to our tables.
You trusted us to host your birthday parties, engagement celebrations, and Fantasy Football draft nights. You cheered on the Patriots at our Super Bowl parties and waited in the crowded foyer for your New Year's Eve meal. Despite the numerous gallons of duck sauce, pu pu platters and scorpion bowls made over the years, your laughter, celebrations, and support have been the heart of our story.
We want to extend our deepest thanks to our loyal customers, dedicated staff, and everyone who has been part of our journey. You've made the Mon Kou Restaurant more than just a place to eat — you've made it a home.
We hope you'll join us in these final weeks to share one last meal, a few more stories, and a heartfelt goodbye.
With love and gratitude,
Kam, Bailey, Rita & The Mon Kou Family”
